The primer spray works great without drying (Urban Decay setting spray is my usual if I’m not using this product, and this is much less drying for my sensitive skin). Just follow the directions on the product container. The kabuki brush is perfect, engineered for easy use and impeccable coverage. The foundation itself is wonderful, ultra lightweight and so comfortable I forget I’m wearing it. The range of colors is great, that fair is terrific for most of the year round and I just go one shade darker for the summertime. Speaking of summertime, I wore this make up to New York City for two days 100° heat wave this summer, and it Did. Not. Budge. Wow! This is the best foundation I've ever used. Not only is it easy to apply, but it goes on so light n air like. You don't feel like you have makeup on at all . The coverage is great and last all day. This is the most natural looking makeup I've ever put on my face. It's a 3 minute makeup job now I mean literally spray on brush apply to face n done. It's that simple. Wow. As someone who has 4 kids and hasn't worn makeup much at all in the last 10 years, and is honestly kinda intimidated by the makeup of today,I am so glad I spurged on this foundation. It has excellent coverage and is so easy to use I could cry. It's light and doesn't cake or scale on dry spots. I didn't use any primer or anything literally just slapped some on while cooking dinner and it looks perfect. Just purchased for the second time, with a caveat. I had mistakenly ordered a different product ( there are so many that look the same as this) and the difference was unbelievable! Jerome Alexander matches my skin very well, blends beautifully with the included pouncing brush, gives amazing coverage, and makes my mature skin look glowy and smooth! And the price just blows me away, as I generally paid at least 3x for the luxury brands. A side note-I ordered the wrong color at one point and because of the low price point, decided to give it to my daughter in law, who is 20+ years my junior, and she loves it as well. I’m 51. Doesn’t Run into creases. I apply a good moisturizer/primer 1st. I bend a toilet paper roll around the brush to ensure it goes directly to brush. Coverage is amazing, even dark spots. I can even skip my concealer. Lasts ALL day. It’s so soft and light. Looks Amazing. I will never return to my original foundation again. EXCELLENT product…Very pleased! ... show more

I’ll say it again, amazing!!! My search is over. I’m 62 and have used so many foundations that say they don’t crease or cake only to have them settle in fines lines or be so thick you can’t breath. This one is different, it really is unbelievable. It does NOT crease up, cake up, feel heavy or look like I have any thing on and coverage is good. I only put on vitamin c and let it dry before I put this on. Works best when you don’t use thick moisturizers underneath it. I’ll never use anything else!!!! ... show more

Brush arrived in package damaged. Two sides are frayed out and the shape is whacked out! I feel very sad. I was looking forward to using the spray with the pretty brush. I cleaned one of my foundation brushes and used it. Love the application of the foundation mist. It’s light to full coverages Feels light and silky after application. I haven’t felt a foundation like this in years..wow! I’m in my early 50’s. I have a few fine lines, large pores, a few scars from teenage acne and some veins that are starting to show in my cheek area. This is probably the second time I’ve experienced foundation this amazing. It covers all my blemishes. My pores look smaller. It feels light and made my face look dewy. Love that! I ordered the Light-Medium color and it works for my skin tone. When I sprayed the foundation on to my brush, I only sprayed gently. A little goes a long way. Little to no smell. The price was well worth this! Thankfully I subscribed for future shipments. Still bummed about the damaged brush. Would loved to have tried it. ... show more
