Description

The Dominaria United Collector Booster Box contains 12 Dominaria United Collector Boosters and 1 Traditional Foil Box Topper card. Each Collector Booster contains 15 Magic: The Gathering cards and 1 Traditional Foil double- sided token, with a combination of 5–6 cards of rarity Rare or higher and 4–5 Uncommon, 4 Common, and 1 Land cards, with a total of 10–13 foil cards. Foil Borderless Mythic Rare Planeswalker in 2% of boosters. A Lost Legends card (from the 1994 set, Legends) replaces a Common in 3% of boosters.

I've been collecting and opening MTG for years. I've still yet to get a resealed box from amazon. I have, however, received a damaged box and got it refunded, with some difficulties. Got this during the price drop at around $110 a few months back. It's still pricey for just 12 packs. Box topper is mostly garbage. Price for the box is currently around $140 or so, so still worth more than i paid. ... show more

I'm guessing these are re-packs (packs that were opened by seller, good cards taken out, then re-packaged and sold). I opened an entire box, got one card worth about $2, and NOTHING ELSE of value. Not a single card worth more than about .20 - now, before anybody goes into 'it's random' - I've been playing M:TG since unlimited, I know what to expect when I open a box, and while you sometimes get duds, you usually at least get some cards of value. Not in this case. Literally one card worth $1.95, and a bunch of total junk and bulk rares; some of which were damaged and had crimp marks on them. Never again. ... show more

    • Too many duplicate cards
My booster box was sold/shipped by Amazon and I don’t think it was tampered with at all, which I was very nervous about considering it was on sale for about $50 less than my LGS. The Wizards logo was present on the plastic wrap, and while the booster packs did show the gaps at the corners that other reviewers have described, I got two Lilianas ($30 each) and a Serra Paragon ($20) from my box, so I’m satisfied with my purchase. (I did get a Legends card, but not a valuable one.) With that said, I’ve only opened one collector booster before ordering this box (Crimson Vow), and after opening twelve more I have to say there’s a truly maddening amount of duplication in collector boosters. Three pairs of boosters had the same four commons, in the same order, which really spoils the anticipation of seeing what you’ll get. Many of the uncommons repeated 2-4 times, and some rares repeated 2-3 times, which seems like a lot for a box of only 180 cards. Personally I don’t care for the stained-glass variants, but they do look excellent as textured foils. The foil-etched cards are much darker than their non-foil or regular foil versions, so that special treatment doesn’t suit all illustrations. The entire box yielded 8 Mythics. I've gotten three Mythics at a time from a single set booster, so I'll probably stick with those from now on. While the variants and special foils are nice, I don’t think collector booster boxes are worth the inflated price tag. ... show more
