The specially designed skeleton structure and the four sides stitched lining keeps the lunch bag standing upright even after being folded flat for a long time.   • ADVANCED THERMAL EFFICIENCY - Five layer insulation. Exterior surfaces are made of rip-stop nylon fabric plus one layer of waterproof PVC. Interior layers are thicker, reinforced food-grade PEVA materials with seamless ultrasonic welding for 100% leak-proof and tear-resistance. A built-in 5mm EPE foam middle layer and 210D liner add additional insulation, allowing the Maelstrom Foodie Buds to keep food cold/warm until it's time to dig in.
  • EASY CARRY - The reinforced zipper with an attractive tail rope is not going to get stuck, and is easier to open and close. The webbing and a padded handle are thoroughly stitched together which is tear-proof and comfortable to grasp without strangling your hand. The lunch bag is also equipped with a detachable and adjustable long shoulder strap, giving you two options to comfortably carry the bag.
  • UNIQUE DESIGN - Maelstrom designed an insulated front pocket. The inside of the front pocket is made of food-grade thick aluminum foil, sewn with one elastic band to hold cutlery, and four little foil pockets are sewn for knives and forks. It is specially designed to put oily tableware in to clean later. Very useful and cleanable.
  • MULTI-POCKETS - Main compartment is used for lunch, bread, etc. The top layer is more suitable for storing fruits, cakes, salad, or drinks. The Maelstrom portable lunch bag is equipped with one front pocket for storing dirty tableware, and two mesh side pockets to stash extra snacks. One of them is specially zipped to hold small items. One mesh pocket on the cover of the bag can hold disposable tableware and towels, and finally one large pocket on the back to hold plates and napkins..

I'm in construction and do structural concrete. I put these things to the test all the time it seems. Best the heck out of it and it is one of the best lunchboxes I've purchased. Great lunch box durable nice black color and easily wiped clean. Has large bottom compartment that fits lots of water/lunch/ice packs. Nice smaller compartment for snacks and non perishables. Lightweight design but excellent durability. Straps are reinforced and can take the weight of full cooler.

With many compartments and lots of room, this is the best lunch box I've used in a long time. With the exception of clothing, this box holds everything I need on a daily basis even if I go out of town. Remember back in the day, your mom had a purse that held everything except the kitchen sink? And probably even that if you needed it...? This is the man equivalent. The only problem is there's zero structural integrity. Meaning, if you don't find a box of some sort to put in the bottom part, it's very floppy, and won't stand up. Edit: 8-17-23 You definitely want to put some sort of hard box inside it. It's difficult to get to the zippers as it collapses in on itself. Also, slightly annoying is the Velcro used to hold the top handles together are extremely weak. The Velcro will just slide apart if you don't have a good grip on both handles. HOWEVER: EVEN WITH THESE LITTLE THINGS, BEST ALL PURPOSE LUNCH BOX I'VE OWNED IN A LONG TIME! WELL WORTH THE PRICE. ... show more

I want to like this cooler. It has good, heavy duty fabric and lining and the pockets are sturdy. Keeps items cold for a long while. I purchased this as an everyday lunchbox for my husband. Unfortunately the zipper for the main compartment and the top did not last. We’ve had it about a year. Last month the zipper on the main compartment ripped away from the body of the bag and last night, the zipper for the top came away completely. I like the cooler but it doesn’t stand up to daily use. ... show more

I searched thru tons of lunch bags on amazon to find one for the right price and features. We now have 2 of these. I only have 2 minor quibbles that I'd love to see changed/improved. (1) The inside top mesh pocket only secures by a small piece of velcro. I'd prefer it be zippered or longer velcro so things don't fall out into the main compartment when it jostles around. It is where I keep utensils (the front pocket with the small slots where utensils could go is too small for a knife). (2) One side pocket is smaller and zips. I don't mind the zipper but I wish the pocket was as big as the non-zippered pocket so it could hold a 2nd water bottle. The rest of the lunch bag is perfect. The interior is a good size to hold Tupperware and carry out containers flat so they don't leak. It keeps things cold enough with an ice pack. pockets on all 4 sides are good (despite the one-size issue. The zipper and construction seem to be good quality. ... show more
