This is the second time I purchased this item because I liked it so much the first time. I have this comforter at my lake house as well as my primary home. It washes well. No issues with excessive wrinkles or shrinkage when dried in the dryer.

This bedding set is really beautiful and makes a plain bed instantly shift into "dressed up" status. The quality of the materials is ok - not stellar, but nothing to complain about - and the workmanship on the stitching is reasonable - no obvious errors (loose/missing stitches, signs of being "irregular," etc.) or skill issues to note. The set comes with several throw pillows as well as a bed skirt, all of which ended up packaged and stored because I'm just not that interested in the extras. In all, a lovely set which does a nice job of dressing up the bedroom. Now the negatives - well, only one, honestly. It's the horizontal pleating at the "ankle level" when the bed is made. Unfortunately, after tossing the comforter into the dryer (to fluff it up and help reduce some of the dog hair my pup left behind), a section of the pleated portion "reversed" itself somehow and will not (absolutely NOT!) lie flat anymore. A friend suggested taking an iron to it, but meh, I'm pretty sure that's just how I end up with scorch marks on my blanket! Hoping a spritz and a re-fluff in the dryer will remedy the issue. Still, it's a pretty set and had I not messed it up in the dryer I wouldn't have anything negative to say about it. ... show more

The image on line does not depict the item I received. I still tried it on the bed but it was just too dark for the room and I had to return it. I had hoped it would work because it's a nice design, but it didn't.

This was awful!! I have purchased Madison Park bedding before and been *very* pleased with the quality. I literally opened this, took one look at the brown patterned fabric that makes up most of the bedspread and pillow shams, and packed it up immediately and returned it. It looked VERY cheap! I was disgusted. AND to make it worse, I also had to PAY $20 to return this!!! Madison Park does make much better quality bedding than this. **If you are shopping online, pick one that has the Micro Suede Predominately.** The back comforter fabric and shams is not super strong either on the Madison Park bedding. It's similar to a thin, inexpensive sheet, but it does seem to stand up to washing. And it's soft. I have one set at a Vacation Rental Property, and I am very pleased with that one. I was NOT happy with this purchase - at ALL! And the Color, like others have said, is light brown and brown. That cheap patterned part of this material was absolutely awful!!!
