Here’s the thing. The coconut buttons on the top of the duvet cover are NOT functional. They are attached to a loose strip that wrinkles VERY easily and you WILL have to iron it to get it straight every time you wash it. The coconut buttons on the pillow shams ARE functional and they are great! If the duvet cover worked the same way it would be wonderful and 5 stars, but the button closure is actually underneath the duvet cover and they are clear buttons there. I would have given this duvet 4 stars, but I downgraded it to 3 stars because of the color. I didn’t think it looked too bad out of the box but after putting it next to my white sheets, it’s clearly not white. It’s actually a yellowy cream color. I think it’s just more apparent in my bedroom because I have a warmer-toned light in there. It’s also not as soft after washing as I hoped. I’m disappointed but I washed it so I have to keep it. Overall, I’d say it’s just okay. And if you’re looking for a pristine white duvet, look elsewhere. ... show more

This is a nice duvet but be advised when it arrives in the package it is terribly wrinkled. The care directions state DO NOT IRON. Therefore I washed the pieces on gentle cycle and low heat which worked fine and most the wrinkles were gone. The exception was the “button bands” on all pieces. I gently ironed those. The fit on our queen bed is not quite wide enough (side to side) however we have a thick mattress. If it had fit the bed better I would have given it an additional star. ... show more

After looking at many duvet covers with my daughter, she finally settled on this set. The description states that it is 100% cotton. The set arrived and she was very excited to open it. Upon doing so, we discovered that the duvet is not 100% cotton. The tag states: "Face: 100% cotton. Reverse: 53% cotton 47% polyester." The description is inaccurate and now I need to package up the set and return it. I would not have purchased the set if the description was accurate. ... show more

The only reason I’m giving 3 stars overall, is because the width is of this Beautiful Duvet is not nearly wide enough. We chose the King size and it needs to be, at least, 2 ft wider, to be able to drape down on both sides to be able to reach your bed frame. With everything we have purchased for King size beds over the last 35 years, we have never had a problem with Width?? So this is a nice product until it is time to wash it (which I did before putting it on the bed). It tells you NOT to iron but it came out of the dryer so wrinkled it looked terrible. Is square shaped as well (didn't review the size well enough before purchasing) and does not fit on a queen bed unless you pull it about 2 feet down from the top of the bed. This is 100% cotton, I read somewhere claiming it wasn't. But mine is. I tossed it for a tumble in the dryer with a wet sick, got all the wrinkles out. I used my steamer for the edging with the buttons. After two nights of sleeping on it, it didn't wrinkle any much more than any other cotton product. Reading the other reviews saying the duvet is definitely not white I think is exaggerating a bit. It's definitely white maybe night the truest brightest white but in my opinion it's far from cream. My king size down comforter fit perfectly inside and so far have not experienced any sliding but have only had it a week. The material is quite wrinkly but could be fixed with a steamer if it bothers you, I personally don't mind since it has the ruching anyway. I did wash mine before placing on bed and did fine. The only complaint I have is that it could be a tad wider, I'm not sure why comforter manufacturers always make their comforters too short. I would have got a California king size for my king size bed if it was available but I'd say this is a pretty standard size for a king and it works fine just my opinion is it could be a tad wider and longer. Over all I recommend and product looks just like pic. The fluffiness will depend on how fluffy the comforter you insert is. ... show more
