This craft kit was really cute! I like the fact that its made of sturdy wood and safe for kids. Its quite a bit of coloring for little ones but its designed in a way that you can give them one layer at a time so you end up with four separate crafts that combine into one finished product. Older kids would be able to do the whole thing. I do wish they had more options for pictures, but hopefully they will expand. I purchased 6 as Christmas gifts for the young ones in my family ranging from 6-10 and I can't wait to see their faces. Their parents area thrilled with this gift idea. We got this for our 6-year-old granddaughter. She really likes the images and three-dimensional aspect. The coloring with the markers, not so much. This is definitely a project that will take her multiple settings to complete as she loses interest with how long it takes to color with the included markers. A variety of wide and narrow markers would make this so much easier for younger artists as the narrow markers take time to get the coverage needed on larger areas. ... show more

This is an adorable project. It is like you are making a shadow box. My 4 yr old grandaughter loved it. You color the 4 wooden pieces and stack them in the provided stand to create a pretty picture. You can hang it on a wall or stand it on a shelf. I did break one of the stand pieces but they give you 2 extra so it still worked. This would be a great gift for a budding artist. ... show more

Got this as a gift for our 7 year old granddaughter for Christmas and it arrived quickly and in perfect condition! She loves to color and put crafts together but sometimes her activities can get a bit messy, so we really were sold on this art kit since it's mess-free and easy for her to put together on her own. The media could not be loaded. Absolutely love this product! I bought it for my 10-year-old son who enjoys drawing, but when my teenage daughter spotted the package, she convinced him to share. Now, I can't get her to bed because she's determined to finish coloring the first layer. Very unique product and I'm really happy it's made in the USA as that's so rare nowadays. Color shows up nicely on the wood, the fit was a bit snug, but it's sturdy and the illustrations are adorable. There is a cute little story that will be a big hit with younger children. I'm super excited about finding this item! Highly recommend it and I will be buying more. My 5 and 7 year old enjoyed this very much. They spent a good couple hours coloring their sets. Love the wood and 3D aspect of the set, something different from the typical coloring book and markers. I love that they can do this independently as well and all I have to do is sit back and watch them create their own masterpieces! Money well spent! ... show more
