Bought alongside Steam Deck because the Valve dock is so needlessly expensive. Does everything I need, feels solid and not fragile, holds the device just fine, and everything connects easy and without any fuss. For an affordable, simple dock it does everything you need without any difficulty. I've used it both attached to my TV and stand alone with a wired mouse and keyboard to get the Deck set up, worked great for both purposes. Only two things is I wish it came with a power cable of it's own, for the price I feel it should come with something, and I wish it locked the deck in place a little more, but I've got rowdy dogs and the only available space is a low shelf so that's not gonna be a problem for everyone. ... show more

The product works just as intended. I had electrical issues in my house so i thought the hub was broken at first. I'm glad i can play my steamdeck on my living room tv with a controller and it charges my phone at the same time with just one outlet. 🙂

Bought this thing for its unique features and what can I say I was ecstatic about it hooked it up first day everything seemed to work good from the ethernet port to the HDMI port the resolution looked great. The next time I used it I had got my SSD card and I installed it follow the steps made sure that the system was Rebooted and began to download games onto the SSD within 20 minutes I got an error message saying that my games weren't downloading everything seem to be good I checked SSD and boy was it hot. I proceeded to reboot the system and uninstall each wire and replug everything in and reinstall the SSD and it started working again but minutes later again the same error message but this time telling me that the slot or the SSD was not functioning properly I ended up buying a new SSD and installing it into this one again and guess what didn't work this device may be garbage I'm receiving my new one tomorrow I will change this review after but after reading all of the other reviews I have no expectations no wonder it's so cheap. ... show more

I recently purchased a Steam Deck but didn't want to buy the official dock from Steam. After a bit of research, I decided on this one. I'm currently using it hooked up to an ultrawide monitor via the HDMI port. I have it hardwired to a switch and am getting great download speeds. I also have a USB 3 hub attached to one of the ports and have a keyboard/mouse combo and an external drive connected to the hub. I've had the dock for a month now and have had no issues at all. I picked up this dock because I liked that it had three USB 3.2 ports plus the HDMI and Display Port for added flexibility. The media could not be loaded. I recently got a IAVKU Steam Deck dock for Christmas to pair with my Steamdeck to play off my TV and it works exactly as stated. I had an extremely easy time setting up the dock to my tv and as soon as I hooked up the deck to it, it immediately worked. Also there is no delay from my keyboard/mouse and it runs really smoothly when playing games online. Also the dock seems to never overheat while I’m even playing triple A games. Using this for casting a steam deck to a tv was super easy! I was worried that my steam deck wouldn’t be charging during the casting process, but there is a port for connecting it where you charge the steam deck, and then you connect your steam deck charger to a port on the back (which is required for it to work!). You then need your own HDMI/USB cable to cast it to your device and you’re all good! The casting quality wasn’t bad at all, and it even offered instructions on how to get the quality good. I didn’t have issues with quality upon set up and the instructions weren't very concise, but that’s okay. The aspect ratio was a bit weird at first (seemed like a part was cut off) but it was just a tv issue. I recommend this when you want to play on your tv/monitor so you don’t have to look at your steam deck. I bought specifically to play Baldur’s Gate 3 with friends locally and it worked very well I recommend! ... show more

I was in the market for a dock for my steam deck but was weighing my options, after a bit of checking ended up choosing this dock and was not dissapointed. First of all the stand feels very well built and solid, and hold up the deck very well. Connectivity was not an issue as the cable perfectly connects to the deck and once powered it keeps the deck charged with no problems. I was easily able to connect this to my tv and had everything up and running. If you need a dock, I would definitely reccomend this one as it has all you need, is well built and for the price is worth it ... show more

I was debating on getting the steam brand docking station (which runs in the 90$ range) but someone on reddit recommended this one. I'm glad I went with this instead. The thick, rubber strips that run vertical in the mouth of the docking station prevents your screen from rubbing against the metalic body and supports while in docked mode, which is a REALLY nice feature that most budget docking stations overlook and can definitely result in a scratched screen. This dock solves that problem (take notes Nintendo). The dock itself is stout and made of metal (aluminum, I assume) so it's got a good weight to it and keeps it from sliding around or tipping over (mostly). The only change I would make, and its not a huge issue for me, is I would raise the rear support wall that the steamdeck rests on so that it ends flush with the top of the steamdeck. This would really improve stability and lower the chances of it being knocked out of the dock by a pet, child or careless adult. If Amazon allowed for .5 star intervals I would have awarded this dock a 4.5 out of 5 but since I can't, I'll be awarding it 4/5, only because of the previously mentioned support issue. If you don't have pets or children, this dock would likely be a 5/5 for you. ... show more
