  • Worked good for forge.
Color: 2600f Rated Size: 12 Pack
Liked for forge. Need to be gentle, until cemented together. Not like red brick at all ! Cutting them, make SURE u wear a mask ! Very dusty, unless you possess a wet saw.

  • Well packaged Oct 2021
Color: 3000f Rated Size: 12 Pack
It appears the seller has taken note of the reviews re: broken bricks. I ordered a pack of 12 (3000F) and they arrived exceptionally well-packed — box was from Lynn Manufacturing, (the manufacturer) — not from Amazon. As to the cancer warning: DUH. There is not a single refractory firebrick or insulation of ANY high-temperature rating that doesn’t have a silicosis risk. If the brick is fired (and rated) above 2100°F, that’s in the range where amorphous silica can convert to cristobalite crystals… even if you buy “biosoluble” kaolin-based insulation and fire it that high *yourself.* If you can’t accept that tiny risk, then please stop whatever high-temp (>2100°F) activity you’re doing, because there’s no thermally-safe insulative material that is completely biologically-safe to inhale. As one other reviewer said: just don’t breathe the dust. Treat it like you would fiberglass insulation — which is also a respiratory cancer risk. […if you read the California prop 65 cancer warnings, EVERYTHING contains “substances known to the state of California to cause cancer” — including innocuous materials like stainless steel and even pure organic coffee...even though coffee can be a cancer preventative. Literally everything can cause cancer in a lab rat force-fed a substance in quantities many times it’s own bodyweight.] But I digress. Just be reasonable and responsible with material-handling and rest easy. You’re fine; and this is a good quality product for a fair price. (I can only speak to the integrity of the more-dense 3000F bricks that I ordered, but, there’s not a single broken or chipped brick in the box.) ... show more

  • Excellent Follow Up
Color: 2300f Rated Size: 1 Single
There was a problem with the order I received (i.e. wrong size) and after contacting Lynn Mfg, they sent a replacement directly to my house. Absolutely great customer service! I haven't used the order yet but I know it will work perfectly for my needs.

  • Use to absorb heat from microwave kiln
Color: 2300f Rated Size: 1 Single
I fuse glass in a microwave kiln. I put my kiln on this brick after it's been fired so my bench doesn't catch on fire. Used four times already and no issues!

  • Best firebrick I have ever had
Color: 2600f Rated Size: 4 Pack
These bricks are absolutely perfect for electric furnaces. The inside temperature of my furnace was around 800 degrees Fahrenheit while the outside was around 100 degrees Fahrenheit. When placed right these bricks out perform standard fireplace bricks. From experience with these kind of bricks, they can be glowing orange on one side and be in your hand on the other side. ... show more

Little worried about broken bricks/corners but packed really well and everything looks great! Bought the twelve pack, comes out to 10 a brick which is the best deal I've seen so far..
