I absolutely love this painting. It was fun and definitely took patience. I would not say it was advanced, but it is big and maybe step above beginner. That's just my opinion, someone else might think this is a beginner painting. The light colors needed little extra to cover the numbers, but that did not take away from the experience. The finished product looks awesome the details are great. I started it and then took a few months before I went back to finish and the paint was not dried out! For anyone who likes to color this is a great step up, looking at it now I can't believe it was so cheap. I got this fun of it, now that it is done I want to hang it up! I did not expect that. My suggestion is that if you're going to do a paint by numbers do not just choose what looks "fun or cool" but consider the colors, theme and if you would hang it on your walls. The skull is awesome, but it does not match my decor, my next one I will choose with that in mind. ... show more

it took a good amount of time which i enjoy, the colors are beautiful it’s worth it i promise. i still have a little left to go but i had so much fun making this. and i don’t think i remember dealing with any paint issues, it was all pretty easy to cover the numbers. definitely worth it

This piece comes togther beautifully and seamlessly. It's really fun. However I haven't figured out how to paint a layer of the light colors on as the numbers on the sheet show through.

This was a really fun paint by number. Great quality and value. You’ll need a lot of black paint so I suggest buying a bottle at a local craft store to supplement the amount they give you. Overall, not a big deal.

My mom laughed when I told her I was taking up paint-by-numbers as a hobby because she didn’t realize how cool they’ve gotten! Although it’s great for beginners, a child might have trouble staying inside the lines with a more detailed piece like this. I love that it comes with pre-labeled paint containers and an extra “map” paper for number reference in case you need it. I spent twice this much on a paint by number from another seller and I had to label the paints myself and there was no reference sheet so if I needed to do touch-ups I couldn’t always tell which paint color I needed because I had painted over the number. I had to iron it before painting because it was heavily creased from being folded. If you do this, set the iron to high and do not use steam as it can smear the numbers. Iron face down. The paint brushes are ok but I have a set of fine-tipped higher quality brushes that I prefer for the smaller details. ... show more

Bought for my teenage daughter for Christmas. She got the moon/green design. Overall she likes everything about it, except she has complained to me that several of her paint colors are dried up and she is unable to use. other than that she likes.

This was an absolute blast to paint! It was moderate to difficult in complexity, but an awesome pass time that helped me to spend less time looking at screens. Would recommend 10/10!
