This KICMOR Pink Area Rugs for Living Room Girls, 6x9 Large Shaggy Fuzzy Shag Rugs for Bedroom, Thick Ultra Soft Plush rug was a really great find. It was destined to be a living room rug for play time for the pups, but an impromptu long road trip bade it a wonderful "back deck" covering for the pups to have some room to get comfy with the 3rd row seat down. That, paired with the dog harness tether and vented back windows, made a very comfy cruising spot for the two tail-waggers and a cranked-up AC fulfilled all their dreams of napping in the sun while being nice and cool. The rug itself is very nice- has some heft when it arrives, and while it is condensed a bit to travel your way, it rebounds very quickly to plush, soft comfort. Great for sprawling on the floor with kids or pups, and would make a great play area for a child or teens. Easy to clean - if you have a super-huge washer, can do a gentle cycle in there, or if you have dogs and the inevitable upchuck, taking it outside with some laundry soap and the garden hose will get it back into good shape in no time (vacuum out the dust first unless you want to be garden hosing for a while). The materials should be mostly resistant to stains. Overall, a neat find and a nice bit of luxury whether on the go or at home. Could be a nice crate liner for the dog lovers out there, or maybe a picnic blanket of sorts for lounging in the sun (you're back to garden hose duty if you do take it outdoors, as it will catch and hang onto leaves pretty firmly, but also easily fixed). The gripper bottom will keep it from slipping, so you don't have to pick it up when grandma and grandpa come over lest they fall. It will stay put, even when layered with other rugs/carpeting. Wow.. 5'x8' rug for $50- a total VALUE for the quality received! The "plush-fur" is nothing but creature comfort.. expect a silky soft top that feels amazing on bare feet added to a respectable cushioned pad below!! No probs with shedding or thin patches.. tufts are approx. x1 inch length that also helps provide a fullness effect. Ordered for teen room to place in front of a gaming console- rug surpassed my expectations.. as it delivers far more than just a sleek aesthetic! Not overly hefty, this has a solid, substantial feel to its body.. it's not flimsy or cheaply constructed- edges has solid finish that lay flat once relaxed. Appreciate the ability to shake out and clean/fluff.. this is a BIG perk- as my vacuum tries to ingest the longer fibers.. best to spot vac with handheld option if needed! Black also hides expected dirt far better.. Best yet, it protects new carpet underneath from dirty teen boys!! I got this through the Vine Program in exchange for an honest review. We got this to replace a poorly made affordable/budget rug in a kiddo's room that was bad, even for the price. This rug was a very pleasant surprise! And although I got it through the Vine Program, I'd certainly get it again directly given it's appearance, general quality, and price ($29.99 for a 5'x'8' rug in Light Grey at the time of writing). This is not an heirloom piece or one built to last decades, but that's not what we wanted or needed. This is a fun, neat-looking, comfy, reasonably-priced rug. It is very shaggy and soft. The pile naturally falls in different directions, adding to a very cool textured look. The tie-dye coloring (we got the gray) further adds to the nicely textured appearance of the rug. And it changes every time you walk on it. This rug came in a surprisingly small package, double sealed in plastic. The outer layer of plastic was thick and protective enough to require scissors to cut through. The vacuum-sealed plastic opened easily and quickly and the rug puffed up very quickly! After 24 hours, it is already quite fluffy - and if it keeps fluffing up for another day or so (per the description), I'll be even more impressed. Given its 5'x8' size, long fluff, and foam layer, I expected this rug to be a little weighty. However, it's very light relative to its size and construction. One person easily unpacked, unfolded, laid out, and straightened it with minimal effort. That said, it's almost too light, and the non-skid backing could be better. It's got the little rubber dots in a diamond shape across the backing, but there should be more of these, and they should be bigger or more effective. Between the lightness and the mediocre (but not awful) non-skid backing, the rug tends to slide a bit more easily than I'd prefer in a kiddo's room. I'll solve this myself with some thin rug gripper. It's decently comfortable. Not enough for me to lay on and take a nap (I'm a big guy and it's on a hardwood floor), but definitely comfy enough for kiddos to lay on and read or play, and for pets to enjoy. The extra "sponge" layer gives it just a little extra cushioning, so between that and the rug pile it feels nice under your feet. Giventhe quality, appearance and price I think this is perfect for a kiddo's bedroom, and would be great in a dorm room, game room, or even younger adult's apartment/home. I do NOT suggest this for a highly trafficked living room or other home area with lots of kids/grownups/pets/others treading around. That's because the pile is microfiber/acrylic and has upright, open-ended threads. It's not looped and not made from something like wool, a world blend, or some blend of poly and natural fibers. This is likely not a rug that will last for decades. But at this price, that's not what I expected! And I've had smaller rugs at around this same price that were bad quality right from the packaging. We wanted a fun, comfortable, affordable, good-sized rug that will last the kiddo as long as they think it's cool. And that's what we got! ... show more

This rug arrived vacuum sealed in a bag and then inside a small box. I honestly thought it was going to be a 2X3 because it was so small. I was shocked when I opened the plastic and it expanded into this huge fluffy rug that looked beautiful! You would never guess it had been in that little bitty plastic wrapper. It is bigger than I expected but that’s fine for me. My kids love it and lay on it constantly to read and play on their tablets. We actually put it in the back of our camper in the toy hauler part to go camping last weekend and the kids loved it. It was like having it carpeted back there.
