This rug isn't overly padded, which I actually enjoy, but is still pretty soft. The design is cute and very neutral. I love the different shades, which makes it easier to match with the rest of my home decor. The only thing I'd point out that some may see as a negative is that the pattern doesn't go very deep into the fibers. That is that about a cm or so down, the fibers are white. I really like the design of dahlia flowers on this rug. The contrast of the deep blue background and the pure white of the flowers is beautiful. The rug is thin so it is fine for using in front of doors. The 2’ x 3’ rug is exactly 36 inches wide. It fits perfectly within a 36” door jam. The rug fabric does have a “nap” to it much like velvet or suede. Meaning that if you run your hand along it going against the grain (or nap) the fibers will raise up and look different than they do when laying flat. I tried to illustrate this in my close-up picture. Kind of like when you pet a cat’s fur in the wrong direction. It looks funny when you have the nap going in all different directions (like what might happen after vacuuming) but for a small rug it’s easy enough to smooth it all back down by hand. The rug is super soft and feels great when you step on it. So far very happy. ... show more

I used this soft, and vibrant rug to place over another larger, older, well worn rug that leads from my garage to my kitchen. It really adds a nice pop of color to my entryway. The rug does not have a high pile, so I'm not sure how well it will work for cleaning shoes prior to coming into the house. The rug is thin which is a good thing if the space under your entry door is tight. The rug has a rubber backing so will not slip on the floor and should prevent moisture from penetrating. I love love love that this rug is washable (one of the reasons I ordered it). I have a cat that likes to mark, EVERYTHING, and this little thing just gets tossed in the regular wash and perm press dry, and it's good to go. Nice and soft too.

I was surprised that this rug is very "felt" like in its texture. Like a thin, soft felt like texture. I ordered this to put in front of our front door, under another welcome mat. It looks so cute! The rug is really soft (not important for outdoors but if you wanted to use it inside it would feel good on your feet). The design is pretty and the colors look great. It's a nice navy blue. The quality seems good and I imagine it will hold up for a long time. It's great that it's washable; obviously with the lighter floral pattern it will get dirty if people walk on it, but you can just toss it in the washer and it comes out nice and clean.
