We were looking for new bed frames for our guest rooms. One of our previous bed frames was a storage one but it was one of those big bulky one that you had a side door and had to crawl under. So the previous one was a pain when you needed to either store something or needed to get something out from under it. So we did some looking and stumbled across this. We liked how it lifted up but was not sure how much we would actually be able to store under it. But, we decided to try it. The build of it was fairly easy and didn’t take too long. With both my husband and I, it took about an hour to build each bed frame. The instructions do not come with written instructions it is just pictures so take your time but the picture instructions are easy to understand. Once we finished both bed frames we started putting the stuff we needed to store away. We were pleasantly surprised how much we could actually store away. We love the look of the bed frames and the look more expensive than what they are. The quality is great. There is no noise when we lift it. It is very easy to lift and put back down. True to size when it states queen. It fit our current mattresses with no issue. Just an FYI, you do not need a box spring for these just a mattress. If you use a box spring and a mattress when you lift it to put stuff under it will not stay up like it is suppose to because of the weight. As long as you use just a mattress you should not have any issues when it staying up when you lift it to store stuff or get stuff out from under it.

I honestly love this bed. It is well designed, easy to put together, super sturdy, and does exactly what it is supposed to. It’s a bit heavier to lift because I have a memory foam mattress on it, but it is still totally manageable, and I love the utility of the storage.

This bed is great! It came with a small damaged piece, but I blame the delivery. I attached a picture. Thankfully it’s against the wall so you can’t even see it. Another piece that was hard was the headboard. We couldn’t get one screw in, but were able to get the other 7 in. It feels super sturdy and was easy to assemble. The hydraulics work really well and I love the bottom storage compartment. I would have given it 5 stars if it didn’t have the misaligned hole. Love it!!!

My first bed was damaged in transit, despite being packaged quite well. The company was easy to work with and immediately remedied the situation. Assembly took approximately 2-2.5hours with 2 people working on it. The side panels are a tad flimsy, but you get what you pay for, and what I really needed was a cheap, functional bed with a shelf and hidden storage. I got that and more. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend the product to others.

As a professional handyman, I’ve assembled a LOT of furniture for clients. I was first struck by the level of quality of the construction. Most beds like this would be made exclusively of MDF or pressed board. This bed has a complete metal structure. All parts were clearly labeled. The instructions were easy to follow. I was able to assemble the entire bed in about 2 hours by myself. There were no issues or do-overs and the bed is really nice looking.

30 minutes? Uhh...no, but not hard either. The bed goes together easily, and I was pleasantly surprised that the holes were all drilled properly, which anyone who has put together furniture like this before can appreciate. The wood is a laminate and pretty thin, but for the price, that is to be expected. It looks good though. The lift mechanism picked up this 80lb mattress with ease. A couple hints putting it together...if you have your own tools, use them. A proper allan head or even better the allan head 'T' wrenches would have made this go a LOT faster. The supplied one is fine, but it is a combo screwdriver which makes it a little harder to get the bolts to turn in the tighter spots. The other tip is when installing the pistons, leave the nuts a touch loose...rookie mistake on that one. Other than using a nicer wood, they could make a huge improvement on this by just having a little cross-bracing. The whole thing is kind of 'wobbly' when the mattress is up and can come out of square really easily. It is something I will probably try to upgrade myself. So, for the price, it absolutely deserves 5 starts, but it could be just a little better.

Pulled out all the parts and found that one board was broken through (see pic). My guess is it happened during shipping even though there was no damage to the box. I was also missing one screw of a certain size but I had 3 of another left over and that worked in its spot. The headboard’s front board had discoloration. (Pic of that also). I give it 1 star because it does seem very sturdy as I went ahead and put it together because I needed a bed frame. The board with the hole is on the opposite side of the room. The spot on the headboard is bothersome as it’s in plain site. Just be aware.
