It has the weight of a duvet but is not heavy to where you sweat in the summer and just the right amount of warmth for the winter. The only little thing that I wish was different was that it would be machine washable. It's big enough that I can pull the comforter way up onto the bed and turn it down without it losing the look that I am going for, plus the ruffles add additional luxury to the overall design. It's a soft subtle blush color, and doesn't appear pink at all. The thickness of the comforter is actually on the light weight side, but feels like it has layers, it's cozy and bunches up around you perfectly when sleeping.
