I can't say enough great things about Lumary lights or their customer service. I have used their screw in replacement can lights, their wire direct new install cans, and these overhead lights. Unbelievable brightness and the ability to control from smartphone, dim, change colors, change to the beat of music is remarkable (and simple). I had a problem with 3 lights (out of 60 plus I have purchased) and the company immediately sent me 3 replacements. Fantastic products backed by awesome customer service. Easy to install but getting it to communicate was ridiculous. Had to watch video on amazon and just do what they were doing to get things working. Have other brands of smart bulbs and wireless cameras and they were a breeze. Will think twice about adding more of these.

I bought this for a room being added into my basement. The construction took longer than expected and I missed my return window. You have to have this light constantly connected to the app on your phone through Bluetooth, and for some reason your location has to be enabled. I turn my phone off at night and then the light flashes continuously until you reconnect it to your phone. There's no setting for a normal light, it has to be connected unless you enjoy the strobe affect. This cost way too much to just be junked, but I have no choice. ... show more

Everything is essentially functional. Not user friendly. Requires app to use. If you flip wall light switch off then it disconnects and requires reset of connection leaving a blinking bright light when you flip the wall switch back on instead of last programmed choice.
