This is a nice little storage stool for the price. I purchased the beige which actually more of a light ivory. It's a lovely color. The assembly takes just minutes with a few screws that hold the legs on. The gold finish is a little on the mustard side of the color spectrum. The velvety fabric feels soft and the construction and sewing appear to decent. It comes with stick on rubber tips for the legs that are pretty useless. I might seek out some small caps that slip over the ends. It makes a cute accent piece in my living room and a great spot for storing my extra cables and chargers. ... show more

I’m giving this 4 stars only because it was advertised as being a velvet stool, when the fabric feels like a wax-coated polyester or vinyl fabric. Other than that, I love this stool. It is reasonably priced at $32, and offers much versatility. I love that you can use it as a foot stool, a side table, and it even has storage! It is well made. The metal legs feel heavy and sturdy, and the top/lid is made of heavy wood. It matches with my current furniture quite well. The height is perfect for a foot stool, the exact height of most couches and chairs. It was very easy to assemble. It arrived very well-packaged. Came well packaged and was super easy to assemble. The legs are pretty thin but are sturdy enough to hold my 185lbs. One thing to note is that the material is not fabric, but more of a vinyl. The look is good, and you almost can’t tell until up close. The upside is that it will be easier to clean and less likely to stain. Overall, no complaints. ... show more

We have a fairly large sectional couch in our smaller to moderate size living room, so the couch takes up quite a bit of space already in room. With having a few small children, we’ve opted out of having a large ottoman or coffee table as an accent piece in front of the couch, in order to give the kids more space to play, etc.; however, sometimes we just want a little footrest or “tabletop” to set a cup, water bottle or something similar on. When I saw this little stool/chair, and it came in a color that looked quite similar to our couch color, I thought this would be a great piece to add to the living room…and sure enough, it is! It’s been great to have and easy to move around depending on where we want it- it’s compact, relatively light-weight yet doesn’t feel cheap, the top comes off for additional storage under the seat, and it was easy to put together! I ordered this for my daughter who is a teenager. We recently got her a new vanity for all her makeup, hair stuff, etc. She needed a new vanity chair. This chair is perfect! It was super easy to put together, took about 5 minutes. All you have to do is attach the legs with a few screws-9 screws in total. The color I ordered is beige however it is more of a white/off white color which is what shows in the pictures. The chair is very soft and comfortable. From open box to finished product, this took me 5 minutes to assemble. It's very easy, just attaching the 3 legs to the bottom with 3 screws each. The lid for the seat comes directly off for the storage. It's very soft inside and out, and makes a great statement piece and bonus storage! The only small drawback is that the legs seem to slide outward a little bit when I sit on it (and I'm 120 lbs) so I'm not sure how sturdy it might be with more weight. I recommend this for kids or as a foot rest rather than a seat. ... show more
