I purchased this light for my dining room, and it fits the character of my home perfectly. It has an unobtrusive elegance. The only problem were the screws that came with the light. My electrician said they weren't adequate and supplied his own.

The gold tone is not cheesy. One review said that the glass cover underneath didn’t fit well, but mine does. It’s a three bulb light and very bright. Slim shade was the only surprise to me but I still love it! Would definitely buy again. We hung it in our master bedroom but I am also considering another one for my hallway. ... show more

Definitely one of the major updates our bedroom needed! Was able to find the perfect angle to turn the seam so I don’t see it. We didn’t receive a remote control to go with it, didn’t know that was an option so I won’t rate that area.

As soon as I opened the box I could tell it was a good lamp. It comes in very good packaging so nothing is broke or bent. The glass and fabric and metal fit together evenly. It's not wobbly and cheap looking.
