Love this item and had it 2 winters now. It is perfect for me and the large hay bales I use and I just pull the trailer in and un hook. Only complaint is that the roof deteriorated and busted this spring and leaked so had to be tossed, I ended up having to purchase a large tarp to cover the frame but no real way to attach it, so been interesting. Looking to purchase the roof tarp only as the sides are still in ok shape. The deer had their way with those and busted all the velcro wraps but it still works.     • The manufacturer shouldn't put it all weather on the carport when it is not all weather proof.

My carport caved in all the poles broke in half in the snow and fell on top of my car I ended up throwing it away because the heavy tarps tore in pieces from the legs that broke in two I was disappointed that the legs broke in two and having to throw it away because it was not salvageable I was not happy, please tell the manufacturer not to put on that it is all weatherproof when it is not I spent over $200.00 because I thought it would protect my car from being to hot or cold. ... show more

I'm currently renting a home that has a covered back patio large enough for this. I had tried to temporarily enclose the area for a few hobbies such as woodworking that are uncomfortable during Colorado winters. My attempts to do so worked okay. Had to be careful not to permanently attach anything. However, I thought of using something like this as an additional way to have an enclosed space which could be kept at least above freezing. The material of this is definitely thicker than a standard tarp. Handling all of this in the winter with the material cold it was difficult to judge the strength and rigidity of the material. But now I can tell it's about quality I expected for the price. Scenes are well sown but of course there are small pin holes in these areas and a few small places where light leaks in. The gauge of the metal is about what's listed. A bit on that then side but strong enough. Nothing arrived damaged. Assembly wasn't difficult but having a second person would be helpful. I had to cut all of the legs by a few inches to get the height down so it would fit under the patio roof. The thinner gauge metal was a benefit that made it easier to cut. Still, I wouldn't want anything under thinner gauge than this. The various ball bungees or good quality. The extra angular supports that come with this improved its rigidity. Laying a few large moving blankets across the top and down the sides created a comfortable environment. I don't think I would trust this as an actual car garage. It is light and even tied down I think it would be damaged by the moderate winds we get. Water resistant probably but not waterproof. Still, especially for my purpose, this was a good option. ... show more

We got this car port to put in the backyard as a shed. We had a lot of stuff stored in our garage but it was hard to go through any of it because there was no space to stage anything. This carport allowed us to move things out of the garage and make a workable space. It has held up great to our weather so far and it providing protection. The media could not be loaded. I have waited to just this moment in order to write this review. We bought this portable garage in order to save on storage fees while we were having massive renovations done to our home. We are in Florida and it has been up now for about 5 months. The only negative thing I can say is that with the Florida sun, the UV rays have deteriorated some of the cords. This is no big deal since most things deteriorate in our sun. Currently, we are in a hurricane situation (Debby). I had to wait a little while until the winds died down to film, but as you can see, she is stable and sturdy and so far there are no leaks. I hope you find this a good testimony as to whether or not you should buy the product. It was very easy to assemble. My husband had it assembled inside of an hour. It has housed our items for the past 5 months with no issues whatsoever. ... show more

I needed a temporary storage location for various items. This portable garage was exactly what I needed. By now it has survived winds of up to 30 mph - the only effect was that some of the walls were blown off the 2x6s I used to weigh down the walls on the ground. Setup was easy. It took about 2-3 unrushed hours and most of the steps can be completed by one person. Having a second person makes it much easier to install the bottom pipes to raise the structure to full height. Note that the bungees are shared between sections of the tarp along the edges - there are not enough bungees to fasten them separately. ... show more

I was able to easily set this up by myself. The frame went together nicely, I found the top canopy was a little tight on its length wise axis. Upon pulling it over the top middle, the middle seam began to loosen, and light could be seen coming through the seam separation. It was very hot (over 108 degrees) on the day I put this up and I suspect the metal frame may have expended, due to the heat. ... show more
