  • Fun Build BUT..!
I bought this not reading the reviews or pictures thoroughly and knew I had to build it myself. I should’ve known it was another product with no clear instructions included other than having to go based off a picture instruction guide. It was easy to follow once you found out some things go together and basically trial and error- what fits where and the amount of pieces is only for a 2x2 base and 2x2 upstairs. Even with the light hammer most pieces didn’t fit well so I ended up using gorilla glue in some corners and have it being held down right now. It’s not self explanatory that some posts should be facing forward so you can connect the lights in. I recommend watching a lot of videos and using glue as you put each piece down. Hopefully my son doesn’t accidentally break it but it’s kind of unstable even with the glue and all the hammering and the two days it took for me to actually get it. Still 5 stars because it came out good overall, just should've been way easier to build don’t you think? ... show more

  • Don’t waste your money
I bought this for my son for Christmas, he was so excited to put it together. We quickly learned, a child cannot assemble this at all. It took me 2 1/2 hours to put it together. The directions are terrible and important information is missing. The pegs on do not fit into the holes on all the pieces. They give you a little plastic mallet to hammer them together?? But it’s plastic and weighs nothing and like I said the pegs don’t fit into the holes on all of them anyway. So it was falling apart before I even got the logs together for the second part of the assembly. All the lanterns don’t light up, only 1 of the animals actually worked. The fence wouldn’t stay together and kept falling over. It looks great in the picture but it’s more for looks than it is to play with. The moment my son sat down and the floor shook a little the whole damn thing fell over, he weighs about 35-40 pounds at most. This isn’t even worth $10. Great idea, absolutely terrible execution. His feelings are hurt, my fingers are sore, I wasted 2 1/2 hours of my life on this piece of plastic crap. Never again. From now on I’ll read every damn review. ... show more

  • Amazing value for the money
Grandson loved this for Xmas. Only reason I gave sturdiness 4 stars was because it easily fell apart whe two other grandsons played with it. Wish the pieces locked better. If you have a child who is careful with his toys this is a must have but if your child plays a little rough with their toys you might want to wait till they’re older. ... show more

  • Almost great
Style: 6012
Loved the look. While most toys like this have a few wonky pieces this one had quite a lot of pieces that we had to manipulate to get to work. ALOT. I have bought this brand before and it wasn't so bad maybe we just got a bad lot this time. Kids loved it but we were frustrated helping getting it together ... show more

  • Must have patience during assembly.
Well to start there are no instructions. Ok follow the picture on the box, question is which one as there are several. Once I finally got it together it was not very solid so out come the hot glue gun to make sure it stayed together. The cows were proportional to the men but the dog and sheep must have been near a nuclear accident because dog and sheep were just about the same size as the cows. Also pictured on the box was a spreader to go behind the tractor and it is not included. Once it was all together and glued it did look pretty nice. ... show more

  • Fun, worth the price!
The media could not be loaded. I did this by myself. Did not let children help me. Rather than twisting small pieces from plastic threads, I used a box cutter to give them a nice clean surface. I did use a hot glue gun for the lanterns to stay. I also used a pegboard and hot glued this underneath the entire foundation. After those couple of finishing touches this turned out beautiful. Not a fan of the people it came with. The farmers are pale as a ghost (farmers are tan) and they kinda looked like they were high on crack. The female it came with is butch af and she looks like a prison cook. But the house is beautiful. Keep a drill handy, I used a drill multiple times when I had difficulty getting a right fit. Do yourself a favor and use the hammer on its side, works better that way. It took me approx 16 hrs to build and decorate. I had no missing pieces but lots of extra pieces and I was able to use a drill and hot glue gun to fashion a shelf the holds the farming tools on the side of the house. Fun project! It’s cheap because it takes effort to build. If you bought this for Christmas do your kid a favor and build it before hand. You’ll drive yourself nuts with them touching everything and potentially lose pieces. Overall 5 stars. ... show more

  • Not for a 3 year old!
The instructions are horrible and in my picture you can see the more than 100 pieces I had to break off the plastic tab and then try to put it together. I purchased the large farmhouse and did not have enough house panels to go all across the front or back of the farm so I had to downsize it to make the farm house but yet still missing one panel on the back after downsizing! By downsizing it did not cover the whole foundation. It is not stable once it is put together. When my 3 year old started playing with it, it started falling apart. Also it took over three hours to tear off pieces from the plastic tab and then try to put it together with minimal instructions. You can scan a bar code to watch a video which, number one, went way to fast and it was non-verbal, it helped somewhat, but was not truly tailored to my purchase which must be an extra large house. I am not pleased and would not recommend this product to any child under the age of 3 much less even a 5 year old. I tried to find a number to call or email the seller but to no avail. This was so overwhelming and difficult to be such a poor quality product when completed. Buyers be ware! ... show more
