  • Roomy
I bought this bag for plein air painting to hold all my supplies. Its def got plenty of space and straps to hold all my gear. Color wasnt as green as pictured. More of your standard O.D. green but thats okay. Straps are comfortable and I shoukd be able to handle a good amount of weight.

  • Nice military bag with lots of storage options!
I purchased this military bag just a few days ago. This bag looks awesome both inside and outside. The material is shiny and the product page says it is "900D nylon". Nylon is 1.4 times stronger than polyester. If the stitching stays strong the way it came after the purchase, then, this bag should last a minimum of 10-14 years. The pockets inside are incredible and a bonus can be a built-in molle-compatible water bottle pouch. I stuffed the bag with quite some stuff the first day, it looked "light-weight" to carry and easy on my back. This is a very unique bag, and I have carried a "mossy oak 65-liter internal frame" heavy bag before which was not nice on my back. I have not tested this military bag during rain and snow. It is summer, and I also hope that the 900D nylon does not fade a lot due to the summer heat since nylon is not that durable in hot weather compared with polyester. Nylon however is excellent during cool weather conditions, including fall seasons in temperate zones as well as during cold winters. Overall, I would say that this bag is worth buying, and I will edit this review if I find issues with the bag at any point. ... show more

  • STURDY and well made! LOVE it!
Color: Red
This bag is extremely sturdy! I've used it now for a couple of years on many trips and it has held up perfectly! It can hold a lot of weight and I keep it packed full most of the time. It has gotten a lot of use since I bought it and I will definitely buy another one when I need it. The stitching is holding up well after lots of abuse by packing this thing with up to 50 or 60 pounds of gear and clothing. Although a little large for the purpose, it works well as a carry-on bag when flying airlines. LOVE it! ... show more

  • Way better than my old Jansport
This is an amazing bag for the price. My hydration bladder hose didn't fit through the slot so I cut it a little for it to fit. When my bladder leaked from storing the bag sideways, the adjacent compartment did not get wet. It fits a ton of stuff! I am very happy with this backpack. I'm using mine as a camping/bug out bag. It holds everything I need to live in the woods forever or comfortably camp for a few days. The MOLLE straps let me add even more stuff after I stuffed it full of survival goodies. I might pick up a second one as a range bag. This would be a fantastic backpack for everything from carrying books for school to traversing the apocalyptic wasteland of the future. ... show more

  • It's a bargain, but, it's a bargain item.
Color: Tan
It's definitely worth more than the thirty bucks they are charging for it when comparing with similar items, but it's still in the bargain quality category. The first thing I noticed when unboxing the item was how light the box was. That means the backpack is lightweight. But, the fabric still seems to be sturdy. The second thing I noticed when unboxing the item was the smell. It stinks, literally. I think it's the plastic material used for waterproofing. There are three levels of pockets, 2 (1 large 1 small) in the front, 1 in the middle and 1 large one toward the user's back. The small front pocket is just the front pocket. The large front pocket has a smart phone sized pocket, three pen pockets, and a larger book pocket behind the phone and pen pockets (see second picture). In the middle pocket is two smart phone sized mesh pockets and a book sized pocket behind the mesh pockets. The large back pocket has two equally sized, zippered mesh pockets on one side and a very large water bladder pocket (much larger than what is needed for a water bladder) on the opposite side toward the wearer's back. There is a cross cut hole in the top of the pack, under the drag handle, for a water hose, I can imagine that that might rip if you put a hose through it. There is reinforcement on three sides that would stop the ripping at some point, but that would make a good sized hole. Additionally, the unreinforced side is toward the wearer where most of the pressure would be. I'll probably put some duct tape on there to reinforce it. The molle webbing is a little crooked on some spots. See the first picture. Also, it doesn't seem to line up with some external bags, but maybe that's just how these things work. I don't know, I'm not a molle expert. I do like that there are lots of good molle loops including some on the sides for water bottle packs or other quickly available items. The padding in the shoulder straps seems thinner and not super sturdy (i.e., it seems it would break down over time), but it should be reasonably comfortable for shorter pack trips. All in all, it's a bargain, but it's definitely a bargain level item. ... show more

  • Great range bag for the price, sturdy, holds a lot
I’ve only used this as a range bag so limited use so far. Material is sturdy and of good quality. Seems to say it holds 40-45L I was able to carry 150+ 12 ga shotgun rounds to the range the other day and could barely feel them. Plan to throw my pistols in there with more rounds to make range days easier to carry in and out. I have since with added ammo 357, 9mm, and 40S&W. All held up great! Makes transporting to ranges so so much easier! Great price for the backpack seems like I made a great choice and got it lower than currently advertised. Would recommend for a range bag or similar. Thanks! ... show more

  • This is a seriously good backpack
I have been pricing backpacks for 72 emergency kits. I have three now set up, but they are to small and flimsy. I decided to take a chance on this Lukin Packin bag and I was sold. It is not flimsy, not wimpey and didn't cost me my next hpuse payment. Some bags I have looked at are extremely expensive, starting at well over 100 dollars and up. I imagine if I was into serious back country living and climbing, maybe I would want something more along those lines. All I wanted was to build a very good 72 hour emergency kit for my wife and I and something for my two dogs. This bag answers all my questions. I now have two and I am ordering a third one for the dogs emergency kit also. I recommend the Luckin Packin backpack for purchase. ... show more
