  • Not for ducks
This machine is not big enough for hatching ducklings but perfect for chicks

  • Simple to use
So far so good. It’s very easy to set up and use and very compact. I just add water in the reservoir every day. The temperature self regulates so I don’t have to worry about my eggs too much. The candling feature is a bit useless. I can’t really see into the eggs with the lights that are built into the unit so I use another candleing device. I would recommend this unit if you want a simple and easy way to incubate eggs and you don’t have a lot of space to work with. This unit doesn’t have an automatic egg turner so you have to do that manually. ... show more

  • its is ok for the price.
It does not regulate the temperature very well. I have attempted to use it twice with only six eggs at a time and had only two chicks the second time. The eggs I used were within 2 days old and had not been washed or refrigerated, so I am unsure where I could have gone wrong. If If you're looking for a high yell in egg production, this will not work very well, but if you have 3 weeks and a few eggs to gamble this is a great product because you will probably get something. ... show more

  • to small for Ducks
labor intensive works to small for ducks ... turning them 4 times a day...

  • It turns on
It turns on and lights up. The temp won't go down past a certain point. It's kinda cheaply made but for the price I expected it. If u read this review it is real. I noticed at least 2 reviews that were 5 stars were exactly the same (pic and all) so the seller is trying the bump up the rating 😉

  • Poor product
This is waste of money. I tried to hatch 14 quail eggs with it, but none of them were successful. However, when I switched to a more expensive incubator and used eggs from the same store, it successfully hatched 11 out of 14 eggs. Upon further investigation, I discovered that the temperature setting on this incubator was off by 4 degrees Fahrenheit. ... show more

  • Great value, very accurate, an absolute workhorse
I bought this incubator to keep small chemical samples warm. This involved the incubator holding 37C for two months straight (longer than chicken eggs take to hatch). It took this challenge without difficulty and didn’t drop temperature at all during the entire series of sample runs. It has a -0.3C margin of error on the temp, which is fantastic for even low grade scientific equipment. The incubator comes back up to temp very quickly after it is opened. This rivals a $900 attachment to a normal vial incubator. Great product, amazing value! ... show more
