First off I would like to say this is a elgato capture card killer for the MONEY. I wanted to test the card after a full 40 hours and I had no dropframes. Last night, I streamed for 8 hours with no drop frames running at 20% cpu. I would HIGHLY suggest pairing this with a usb 3.0 pass through cable for fast speeds since the one that comes in the box isn’t the best. Also, the hdmi cord isn’t so great but the card itself is prime. Use your own high speed hdmi cables and you’re good to go! Promise you, if you’re wanting to stream and don’t want to spend $150 on the capture card, this is the BEEZNEEZ. I was able to connect my meta quest 3 headset to my Switch! I used the new meta quest hdmi connect and cenmate capture card and it works just as expected. Very pleased! I did need one more hdmi cable but that was not a big deal.

Ive never used one before and this was easy to use and setup. I wanted to capture some gameplay at 1080 and this did exactly that. I did use my own hdmi cables instead of supplied and never had any issues with sound on the recordings. I like the over build and quality of the device and ease of use.

It works fine as a regular capture card as long as you are OK with 1080/60 video. However, if you are thinking about using this to use your Quest 3 as a monitor for gaming, the input lag is too much. It's not terrible, maybe 100ms (just guessing), but that's more than enough for anything that requires quick reflexes and precise timing to be almost unplayable. ... show more

This capture card works well. So far the capturing worked without issues, while some larger brands' products failed occasionally. The capture card is well made. It's slightly big for a capture card, but worth it since it's reliable.

It's simple to use; just plug it into Windows, and it shows up as a camera. Passthrough was nice to go into a full-size screen. I was able to take the feed as a camera into OBS and record or stream.
