First time i change the diff fluid in my Jeep it was one heck of a mess. The bottle tips if, but it was tight and awkward as all get out so I figured this might help. I just popped it on the diff fluid bottle and started pumping. This thing is GREAT! The only diff fluid (it is expensive) I lost was when it was full and started over flowing. No problems with squeezing bottle and hoping some was coming out when it was not and clean up was a breeze. For the price this will save you more than the cost in convenience.     • Worked one time, but fell apart right after I finished using it.

I used this kit to change the lower gear oil in my old Mercury 2 Stroke Outboard. After draining the old oil, I screwed this pump on to the gear oil bottle and started pumping. It worked fine and filled the lower unit with oil. After I filled the lower, I unhooked this kit and went to pull everything apart to store it. That is when the pump fell apart. The part that screws on to the bottle popped off and the pump part just kinda separated. Also, after looking at the pictures, my kit did not have the fancy gold clamp on it either. I like all the parts this kit came with, but the fact that it fell apart on the first use kind of soured things for me. Two stars, one for working one time, and two for coming with all the fancy adapters that I can use with a replacement pump. ... show more

I have 3 of these all from different companies. The first one, just all out stopped pumping after the 3rd use, the second one, worked 2 times, but on the first time there was no back pressure as I was extracting oil on an oil overfill on my ATV. The second time I used it for a boat motor lower unit the hose shot off the nozzle and It made a big mess and I had to hold the hose on while pumping. That 2nd unit did not have a hose clamp on the nozzle like this 3rd and newest product does. I'm going to say if you are filling and what you are filling has a little back pressure, make sure you get one like this that has a metal clamp on the hose over the nozzel to lock the hose on!! I'm hoping I have better success with this one, but I don't really expect that it will last more that 4-5 times. Worth every penny though!!! ... show more

I actually bought this pump not to change oil in boat engines, but to pump transmission fluid into the transmission a vehicle after a fluid flush. While I have not done the work yet, the pump looks good enough for my purpose. The two additional adapters fit perfectly in the main swivel adapter, but I don't need none of them to my purpose, so I can't tell if they work well or not. Got this in hopes it would be better than the one i already had, I was wrong. First time using something broke within the plunger mechanism and it became very loose/wobbly, still worked afterwords but made it more difficult to pump and remove from the bottle. They do not provide any hose clamps, so watch out for the hose popping off. They do not provide a plug to put on the end of the hose. It worked, but big box stores are the same price with a little more features.... ... show more

I got this for yearly maintenance on my boats lower unit. I have a similar one for my cars except no fittings on the end. The hose on that one is super tight on the pump and came with a zip tie to make sure it never slid off. This one doesn't. If a pull on it, it starts to slide. So I'm adding a zip tie to prevent to hose from coming off. The metal fitting all have good threads and can tighten down to the o ring.
