I have many Lovense products that I love and was hoping the Solace would solve the problems of auto strokers, like controlling the speed to slow, even very slow movement. Also the variable speed v. step wise, preset speeds. My two main complaints (1) while the speed is continuously variable, it is jerky and can't be slowed for the edging I prefer and (2) the motor is so loud that it completely ruins the experience.     • This product could be so much better
Edit: 9-10-24. Shortly after posting this I was contacted by support and just figured I would edit this (a bit later). They sent a new one free of charge, and forwarded along my feedback. They were very interested in sending the feedback to the engineers it seemed. Which is fantastic to hear. While the pros and cons listed still exist for this product, the brand is still great. Thanks for the help! They also just released the "pro" version of this toy which ill be interested in checking out. I’ve had this product for about 8 months. I have most other Lovense toys and love the app, the flexibility, and for the most part their quality. Some of their toys I’ve had since 2019 and have lasted 5+ years of solid use. This toy has a lot to offer, but it could be so much better. Pros: Fast if you want Access to the app and toy control from others, the ability to sync etc The battery life at full charge, and how fast it charges It will defiantly get you there rapidly It can now us the AI setting with VibeMate etc to sync to your favorite VR (ish) Cons: It uses its own charger, instead of using a charger like the Domi or the other lovense toys or even like the Max It died and wont charge now after 8 months of really light use The ability to clean it just makes no sense at all. The sleeve is not nearly as cleanable as the Max and maybe should be interchangeable The sleeve itself is just ok, I wish there was a bit more to customize with it From the control stand point, while you can control the speed and depth there’s no way of knowing where the toy is on its stroke start location. So you don’t know if the toy is at the tip or the base of the object its stroking. This makes it very difficult to really maximize the pleasure. The toy is ginormous! It stores really large, its not going to be in a carry on that’s for sure. The motor is loud The desk mount system needs work. The screws on mine stripped in its first use pretty much, and the rotating part has since jammed into its location and is no longer movable. Overall I’m not happy with the durability Conclusion: Id look into getting the Handy instead, even though I love the lovense app more. There is just way more depth to the controls that your able to have and use. If half of the cons disappeared I would love to buy it again, as I think its quite a fun toy and has potential.     • Desk mount needs work
Overall review (tldr): It does what it's supposed to, but the desk clamp puts it in an awkward position too far from the keyboard to use it. Furthermore, you'll need your chair at the lowest setting to use it comfortably. It's very noisy, and takes some extra care to clean. With all of that said, it feels good, and the actual device is great. I just hope they revamp the desk clamp. The desk mount clamps well, and is sturdy enough, although it does tend to wiggle left or right just a bit when moving it around or entering it. I just straighten it out and it's ok. However, I'm a fairly tall and big guy, average size, and I can't sit normally to use this thing. Part of it is that I've got a belly so it gets in the way, but even reclined I have to lower my chair to the lowest setting to use this thing comfortably. I can use it without lowering down but the angle is odd and the height makes entering it difficult. Furthermore, don't even consider using your keyboard and mouse. Part of the allure to me was I could keep my hands clean and not get lube on my keyboard or hunt and peck one handed. That's not really feasible. You have to sit a good 12-16 inches away from your desk, and the thing doesn't really lend itself to putting the keyboard on it. if it had a weighted floor stand it might work well, or a revamped clamp to put it under the desk, but still at a decent angle. I'd happily sit all the way down if I could be under the desk and able to use my keyboard. As for how it feels. It's pretty good. Not as good as my fleshlight, but it does it for you. I also have the fleshlight launch, and have the same issue with this - those porn pros do it much faster and for a lot longer than us mere mortals can do it for. I can edge for a few hours if I want with a manual fleshlight without issue, with this thing, I have to stop it periodically to cool down. Not really a problem with this product but rather with the automatic part of it in general. The video doesn't know to slow down like a partner would, so it's going to end quickly. The setup makes it irritating for short use. If you just wanna get jackhammered for 30 seconds, clean it up, and walk out the door, this will do it. I prefer to savor the experience. Still possible, but not as well as I had hoped. Noise isn't an issue for me (my wife bought it for me, and no kids), but it is fairly noisy. long story short is that it's loud, it's heavy, it's huge, the sleeves are junk, and it pinches unless you hold it just right. For this kind of money kiiroo or handy offer vastly superior options.

    • Too large and noisy
This is way too large to be hand held, and when used it is EXTREMELY loud, also doesn’t stretch real well so doesn’t glide up and down well more so grabs skin and rubs skin against muscle.
