    • Consider me impressed! Lifelong Lifeproof user gives this two thumbs way up.
I have been a devotee of Lifeproof since I got my first iPhone, ten years ago. Between total klutziness and an autoimmune disease that has damaged my fingers and the nerves in my hands, I drop my phone. A lot. It’s sometimes a several-times-a-day occurrence. With the cost of phones and the fact that I typically keep them for at least three years, I figured I needed Lifeproof so my phone could be me-proof. Well, I’m almost to the point where I need a new phone, and my Lifeproof case was coming apart (after three years, which is legit). I didn’t want to shell out a ton of money for a case that will be moot in three or four months, when I get the new phone. This got good reviews, and I figured I could return it if it was terrible. Much to my surprise, I like it even better than my Lifeproof!! I like the dial instead of the toggle cover where to turn sound on and off. I like the feel and sturdiness of the covers to the volume buttons and the button on the right (what the heck is that called? Is it the power button?). The screen cover portion is perfect and registers my touch and fingerprint perfectly. It’s waterproof, so when I’m washing my face or hands and splash/drip some water, I don’t have to panic. The only two things I preferred with the Lifeproof are 1) the cover of the charger port, which seems to me it will eventually break off and is kind of annoying to hold out of the way as I’m plugging in the charger, and 2) the material that comprises the raised portions (to keep it from touching surfaces, which also gives it a place to grip) is a fairly hard plastic-y material, instead of a more rubberized material. It is a bit more grippy than perfectly smooth plastic, but the Lifeproof one was so much easier to keep in my hands. As I mentioned, I have a lot of issues with my hands. Normal people probably wouldn’t even notice this feature, but if your grip strength is subpar for whatever reason and you find the phone keeps slipping out of your hands, a Lifeproof or Otterbox with their rubberized material may be worth it for you. I’ve only had this a little over a week, so I can’t yet speak to the durability over the long haul, but I definitely recommend this case and, if all their cases are like this, the brand in general. I’m strongly considering getting one of these to fit the iPhone I purchase this fall. ... show more

    • Absolutely worth buying!!
I bought my iPhone 7s or 7sPlus in 2016. Along with it, I purchased a Lifeproof case that was guaranteed to last one year and protected my phone through many bounces across my work parking lot or down stairs without a scratch. I couldn’t find/afford a new Lifeproof for this model phone. This case seemed to be very similar to the original waterproof Lifeproof case I had for almost 5 years but so much cheaper price wise. It has exceeded my expectations and is just as good as the $100+ Lifeproof case I purchased in 2016. I love this case. It’s not nearly as heavy as the Lifeproof, but is just as durable. One of the reasons I drop my phone so much is work related. Many times, I am tasked unexpectedly with carrying boxes and my phone almost always falls out of my pocket while I’m lugging these boxes around. I will buy this brand again and again when I am ready to upgrade my phone. My phone looks like I just took it out of the box. The old case made it difficult to answer/hear calls and would sometimes (most of the time) not recognize my thumbprint. Not so with this cover. I wish I could give it 10 stars.     • The best case I have ever bought
I bought this to extend the life of my busted up 7 phone. It fits perfectly. The screen cover is so smooth it feels like the screen is not cracked. My phone looks and feels brand new. I have not dropped it to test the case's durability nor have I tested it in water so I can't talk about how the case works there. But for the price this is absolutely perfect. It also has a turn dial that helps to adjust the ringer which is so much better than any case that I have had before. There is no way to accidentally turn my ringer off. Amazingly this has happened way more than I would like to admit with my old case. ... show more

    • Sturdy and beautiful - pics fuzzy
This case is absolutely sturdy and I feel very secure using it. I’m not sure about it being waterproof, but I don’t need that feature personally. The only reason I gave it four stars is because the front camera has the plastic over it, and for some reason it makes the front selfie pictures very fuzzy This case is totally sturdy and safe. I love my color, too! The only reason I gave it four stars is because the front camera has the waterproof plastic over it, and that apparently makes the front selfie pictures fuzzy.     • Survived many drops before cracking so good value for money spent.
This is my second Love Beidi. It is a cheaper version of the Lifeproof and holds up to multiple drops. The speaker is not great and I need to use earbuds or no one can hear me, but it took many many drops before the case cracked. Thankfully my phone did not. I am a klutz. The lifeproof box did not last any longer so I am happy to buy this product again. Love the mint colour. ... show more

    • OK, but lacking a few important details
I’ve had mine 6 mos and put it through some life tests, and feel it’s worth adding a review as I now need to replace it. Pros: very similar look and feel to lifeproof. So far no problems with water! Cons: like lifeproof, people cannot hear you when you use the phone in its case. It’s even worse for those on the other end when you’re on speakerphone. The opening for the charger hole is too small for some charging cables. Also experienced this with lifeproof. Really annoying when traveling. Biggest con: I dropped my phone on the ground from my hands while standing, while it was in this case and totally closed. My screen completely shattered. This is why I can’t rate it higher. Lifeproof cases never did that. The case is now broken where the lanyard attaches to it. I have used it quite a lot, and the lanyard is really handy (when it’s not catching on things) but the tiny plastic loop it attaches too should be reinforced. Minor: the knob to toggle between silent and vibrant is clever but can be really hard to turn. ... show more
