This Louisville Ladder 32 feet fiberglass extension ladder has a 300 lbs. load capacity, rated ANSI IA Type. This extension ladder is great for working on electrical, utility, light construction and residential jobs. It features D shaped rungs that are fully serrated for a slip resistant surface. Includes two extra heavy-duty slide guides to prevent over extending the extension ladder. Equipped with the MAXLOCK rung lock, engineered to be the strongest, toughest, lightest rung lock ever made for extension ladders. This extension ladder also includes the patented QuickLatch system that provides a simple, intuitive method of securing the ladder when extended. Features wivel safety shoes with overmolded polymer tread that be used with the tread down or in spike position. Good: This 32 ft. ladder is not much heavier than the aluminum. It is very sturdy, but somewhat a pain to move around. I have used it for 2 days and the cost is less than if I rented one. I have about 4 more days to use it for now, so it was well worth buying vs renting. Now, Bad: This ladder arrived with some scratches, a ripped rubber foot and minor misc. damage. Not sure, but the box was heavily re-taped and it looks like it may have been used. See pictures. ... show more

This ladder is really sturdy and well made. I feel safe climbing this ladder day in and day out. There is a safety latch that will prevent you from accidentally lowering it. Very nice ladder. Has a small dent on the underside of one of the rungs. I don’t think it would be cost effective to return it for such a small dent. I don’t believe it is a safety concern. Overall I am very satisfied with the whole purchase.

Do not purchase through this supplier. Two rungs were bent on this ladder while the outer packaging was intact, which can only mean the company knew it was defective when they sent it or that they did not inspect it before sending. Attempts to contact SIM Supply have been futile. You have to leave a voicemail but they do not return your call. I have left three voice mails to no avail. I am angry and disappointed. This is NOT a good way to do business. It is very heavy and not easy to maneuver but that is to be expected for a 32 ft ladder. The rungs that are bent is our main concern. Update: I have attempted to contact Amazon to assist in issues of bent ladder rungs. Going nowhere fast. ... show more

When the ladder was delivered, I noticed right away the box had taken a few hits and bumps along the way. My delivery was through XPO, a delivery vendor for amazon. After the delivery people placed the ladder in my garage I told them that "I would like to inspect it," but was pressured by the delivery man to sign for it now and file a refund later if I wasn't satisfied. I was reluctant, but from the 2 seconds I got to see the condition through the damaged box I could only see some scratches to the finish, and didn't want to waste their time. After caving to peer pressure I signed and they left. I then started to inspect the ladder as I originally wanted to and within 2 minutes I noticed a large structural crack near one of the D-rungs further along. Ladder safety is important, your life is literally at risk, and a cracked fiber glass ladder is not safe to use. You always hope that the other negative reviews you read about won't happen to you, but it's a different situation when your life and limb are at risk. I can't tell if this a manufacturer defect or if it was due to damage through delivery, but it's disappointing, as now I have to schedule another pickup to get my refund - and return the ladder stabilizer I order to go with this ladder. Update: contacted Amazon service and they refunded the amount and are giving me a credit for the inconveience. Raised rating one star for Amazon's customer service. ... show more
