This is our second time purchasing this item. The first one was phenomenal. It’s lasted though years of use and abuse. Now that we are about 4 years or longer it’s just now getting to where the battery isn’t holding a charge for as long as it used to. So we purchased the same item. We love it!! It’s very clear sound, it doesn’t have that “tinny” sound that some less expensive versions tend to have. It holds a charge well and it’s very easy to use. It’s lightweight but not too lightweight. I use this device at work. Given that I am a dock worker for the USPS, the need for it to be both loud enough and clear at max volume is of tantamount Importance to me. This speaker fits the bill! It has good bass and clear sound for the price point (I did have a 15% coupon). Versatile ability to play from bluetooth+AUX+card. I use it every day to play soft low volume sounds for sleep. The battery only lasts about 5 hours and the low battery alarm starts going off intermittently at 20% which is very annoying. I read in the instructions that you should NOT charge while using, and this is a big negative for me. Even though it still seems to charge while in use I'm worried it will eventually cause an issue. For that reason I assume I'm going to have to replace this unit much earlier than usual. ... show more

    • Bad port location and less than claimed battery life
The sound is pretty good for it's size. The controls are ok. The placement of the ports is not good, especially if you use a usb stick. Would recommend buying a 90 degree USB adapter if that's your plan of use. Battery life is no where near what manufacturer claims. I got about 4 hours of use on a charge. I was not playing at full volume. I can't tell you how loud it really is. I tried to turn it up all the way to see and it shut it self down. The second time I went to use it the USB port broke off the circuit board and fell inside speaker. I listen to rock and pop. ... show more

    • have to charge twice if you use it at 100% volume for an 9hr shift
Had to charge twice at 100% volume for a 9hr shift as a shipper in a distribution center (last about 5hrs on a full charge while at 100% volume) does go from 70% to 20% battery power faster than I would like. Also when the speaker hits 20% battery life the speaker forces down the volume to that of a phone. otherwise, this is a great pruducet. ... show more
