This is the best setting lotion on the planet. It's not sold in this concentrated form anymore here. Everywhere I go, it's foam and has a couple of other ingredients in it. I use it to set my wigs. If the wig is human hair or a human hair blend, it can be washed and set. I don't add an water when I set my wigs so the curls are hard, but become soft when you finger them. And the style lasts! It's humid here, so they need to be hard. During the winter, I add water because the curls don't need to be as hard. It depends on your preference. I love this setting lotion ... show more

    • Great for wet setting!
This is a lot of product for an affordable price. I have thick Asian hair that is difficult to curl (and keep said curl) with heat. It is heavy and mostly straight and I have a lot of it. A lot of products weigh it down instead of keeping curls bouncy and with shape. I just use a 1:2 or 1:3 ratio of this and water and spray it lightly on hair right before I put them in rollers and set to air dry. The product mixed with water feels light and slippery, and my fingers don't feel sticky as opposed to when I use mousse or creams. I like the smell too, not overly perfumed in my opinion, but still has a scent. It air dries at a good speed and leaves my curls up all day (talking 8-12 hr) without feeling crispy or sticky. ... show more

Great value and instrumental in curly hair styling. Most products call for very wet hair and this is it. Those of us with curly hair know it takes more than one product - start with this one!

This stuff is good. Not heavy, not greasy, not dulling. However…….ha, I diluted it per the instructions, nothing. I diluted it using 50/50….. not much better. Then I used it full strength……and that’s the way to go. I honestly saw and felt no “impact” from the product till I used it full strength. I really like it ... show more

I purchased this size after trying out the smaller size. I was skeptical at first- I didn't understand how something diluted in water could provide the hold I needed. But let me tell you, this stuff holds my curls ALL DAY and sometimes longer! It leaves your hair soft and smooth as if there's nothing on it. No more crunchy gel hair! Highly recommend ... show more

    • Loving this for my thin hair!
I LOVE this product and my hair is FINALLY holding a curl!!! For a gal with super fine hair, I could never attain curl or any volume to speak of. My hair always fell flat after time and effort styling. Now, I spritz or hand comb in some Lotta Body, style with curler or curling brush, and my style actually stays in all day. I leave my office with my hair looking as good as when I came in. Even my husband has noticed and commented on how good it looks. For my fellow Americans, note that "lotion" in Britain is not actually the lotion we are used to. This product is a liquid, not a lotion. The product I am reviewing is also the concentrate so when it arrives, you will need to dilute with some water (instructions on bottle) so be sure to have a small spray bottle available so you can be ready to get styling! ... show more
