I ordered this for my best friend's mother who has Alzheimers. I took my time to find one that I felt might give her comfort. I asked my friend to please open it to make sure there were no strange odors emitting from it. It was odor-free!! She sent me a pic, which I'm not sharing for her privacy, but her Mom was smiling and her family said its the first time that she's smiled in a very long time!
