Features

  • Superior Support and ComfortThis Sleeping Pad boasts a 4.5-inch thickness and 12-pound foam filling, delivering unparalleled support and comfort. With a weight capacity of up to 440 pounds, this sleeping pad accommodates a variety of body types. Its unique internal structure ensures even distribution of air and foam throughout the pad, effectively reducing pressure points and providing a good night's sleep. Please note that this pad is not recommended for backpacking.
  • Adjustable SoftnessThis mattress utilizes a unique combination of foam and air, making it fully adjustable for personalized softness and support. This means you can easily adjust the pad's comfort to your liking, allowing for the best sleeping experience. Compared to single-material sponge or memory foam pads, this sleeping pad offers a higher level of personalization and comfort.
  • Silent and Stable Support for Quality SleepThe mattress provides a stable sleeping surface with minimal noise, ensuring that your movements won't disturb your sleep or your partner's. Unlike other air mattresses that may make annoying squeaking or rubbing sounds, this unique combination of air and foam construction keeps you comfortable and quiet throughout the night.
  • Easy Inflation and Challenging DeflationThe mattress is incredibly easy to inflate, just twist the valve, and you're good to go. However, because of its bulk and weight, deflating the pad may take some patience. To solve this problem, we offer an electric pump, which you can purchase separately. The pump can be used for both inflation and deflation, making the process quick and convenient. Please note that stowing the pad may take some time and effort, but the comfort it provides is worth it.
  • Four-Season InsulationThis sleeping pad boasts an R-value of 13, offering exceptional insulation in cold environments and surpassing many other sleeping pads on the market. The 12-pound foam filling ensures comfort and appropriate insulation in various outdoor environments. Suitable for spring, summer, autumn, and winter, this sleeping pad provides a consistently comfortable sleep experience throughout the year.

  • Super comfy, high value for the money.
Size: Single Style: Sleeping Pad
The thing I hate about all these self inflating mattresses is that nobody does a good job of describing exactly what they feel like, and because of that I didn't want to spend half my paycheck on more expensive options. Well I'm going to try to tell you what they are like. First, the foam on the inside is not super dense. Its really just there to help give it some structure for inflation. If you're using it with a cot and it deflates there is enough foam that you're not gonna be totally uncomfortable, but you wouldn't ever purposely run this pad without it being inflated and if you're on the ground and it deflates you'll be sorry it did.. Now there seems to be two mechanisms that make this comfortable. 1. Is that the main fabric body of the pad is much stretchier than your typical backpacking inflatable pad. That coupled with the interior foam structure gives it a nice plush bouncy feel that countours better to your body. 2. There is a thin layer of egg carton memory foam sandwiched between two layers on the top (also I think this is the mistake the other video reviewer left about it "leaking everywhere" I'm betting that top layer of fabric is not part of the sealed air compartment, giving it more comfort and he's just seeing air bubble up from the foam) I've tried almost every sleeping pad you can think of for elk camp. Many major brand backpacking pads. Those 3" memory foam pads you can find here on Amazon. Paco pads. This is the first time I've used one of these style pads, most of them are just too expensive to justify rolling the dice on without knowing how comfortable they are. Out of everything I've tried this is the most comfortable. Not quite as comfy as the bed at home, but you're not going to get much closer. Also inflation is a breeze even without the electric pump. Most people I see reviewing this brand on YouTube seem not to have ever used this style of bag pump. The trick is to blow into it from a few feet away. Lots of air will rush into it filling it up all the way, only needing 3-4 pumps to fill it up. (The Nemo pads use a similar system and have videos on how to do this). Deflation is actually easier than most people make it out to be, some minor effort and its back to its factory size roll. but I have the single, I'm sure larger sizes are a pain though. My sleeping bag did not make a lot of noise with the fabric, however the bottom of the pad rubbing up against my taught cot fabric did make noise, still not as bad as the plastic bag sound of most sleeping pads. Ive only used it for one night, but I'll be putting a full 7 nights on it in a couple of weeks. If I haven't updated since then you can bet it held up and lasted well. Very happy with the value for the money. ... show more

  • Much Better sleep while camping
Game changer for sure when it comes to sleep. My wife and I have been through the usual air mattresses over the years and they all do the same thing, last about 2 years and slowly start losing air. We finally decided to get one of these after seeing the same basic thing in REI. But I wasn't about to spend $500. We've used this mattress 3 times so far on long wheeling weekends and its a must have now for a good sleep and we've usually got it at around 80% blown up, firm enough but still cushy. The trade off though is space, we've got the queen and its huge rolled up, takes up alot of real-estate in the back of a cj5. You will also need the pump to deflate it since you need to pretty much vacuum seal this to roll it back up and get it back in the sack. ... show more

  • Bulky, but super comfy.
Size: Twin Style: Sleeping Pad
By far my favorite camping accessory! Inflatable air mattresses are auful and uncomfortable you can get by on a thin foam sleeping pad but you won't be comfortable or well rested. But this, this right here is the way to go! Sure it's a little bulky but not much bigger than a good zero degree sleeping bag. And the out side fabric like material is durable and easy to wipe clean and not slippery at all so you don't have to worry about sliding off in the middle of the night. And the amount of insulation it provides between you and the ground is unbeatable! A must have for cold weather camping! ... show more

  • Great for roof top tents. Not so great for car camping etc.
Size: Queen Style: Sleeping Pad + Pump
Awesome for a roof top tent, lame for car camping. This review is after about 10 nights of camping/sleeping on it since purchase a month ago (mostly in a roof top tent scenario). We bought a queen sized w/pump to replace the original sad little 2 inch foam mattress in our roof top tent. It's awesome for that. Shrinks down even thinner than the original for easy packing away to the point that we can leave all our bedding and the mattress in the tent and just fold it up and go, but man... we used it once for a car camping situation in which we couldn't bring our roof top tent equipped vehicle and this thing is massively annoying to lug around and to breakdown and get back into its bag. I imagine it would be even worse without the pump. Can't recommend it (at least the queen size) for anything other than a roof top tent type scenario (or maybe a spare mattress for guests at home). We won't likely take this purely car camping again. One other little nitpick is I wish it had a little PSI gauge somehow to try and get some kind of consistent comfort level. Fully inflated is way too firm, and self inflated only (valves open but no pump used) is a little too soft. Judging how many seconds of pump time is the only method I've come up with so far, but it would be awesome to be able to say "I like it at 2 psi," and be able to hit that consistently. 5 stars for roof top tent situations, 3 stars for car camping (and anyone thinking about backpacking with this is a masochist, lol!), ultimately leads me to a 4 star review. ... show more

  • Great Self-Inflating & Insulated Air Mattress-2 Yrs Later!
Size: Full Style: Sleeping Pad
I bought the full size Lost Horizon Self-Inflating air mattress in July 2023 for camping with no air pump. I’ve used it 5 times so far when camping, 4 times in a Casita camper and once tent camping for 5 nights and absolutely love how comfortable it is. I’ve never had an issue. It’s still in great shape. I do keep it store in a spare closet inside my house so it’s not exposed to heat in storage. I’m getting ready to use it again in two weeks for a tent camping trip. I also bought a twin size as well but haven’t used it. I would highly recommend this air mattress and to buy it with the pump for ease. I use an air pump purchased separately. I’ve had to use the manual bag air method a couple times which is a pain but it works. ... show more

  • Very comfortable! Hard to deflate
Size: Full Style: Sleeping Pad
Was skeptical but had heard good reviews. It really is so comfortable to sleep on. We have used primarily for car camping. It self inflates pretty well by itself and doesn’t seem to deflate even in the cold over multiple days. My only complaint is it is very challenging to deflate and get it rolled back up into its bag. ... show more
