So far, so good, although I wish the chrome was anything but (white? black? gold?) Also, loose in the box, are 3 white square power bricks, so you can plug the USB in on one side and then plug the brick into an electrical outlet. Which brings me to my 4-star rating: one of the bricks is kaput. Failure rate on electronic parts is ~10% so ... To get a replacement part, Amazon's choice was to return all of them. I needed some grow lights for the plants in my office, as they don't get much natural light. I stumbled across these and they're perfect. They're aesthetically pleasing and the timer function works well. I do recommend using a USB brick other than the ones that come with them as those seem to get a little too warm. I thought I had a killer thumb instead of a green thumb, come to find out my babies just needed more light! I set these on 12 hours and they are spot on, 7am they turn on and at 7pm they turn off. The second picture shows it all, I've had this tree for over a year and it lost all of its leaves and was just the stump, after 2 weeks under this it began the grow leaves again.
