    • Great light but power base is not good

The lights work absolutely fantastic and I've bought several of them I really like them. However, the power base has blown on every single one of them. The power base is really flimsy I had to buy a new ones and replace it but everything else works great.

I didn't realize that when you set the timers on these little lights they automatically come on each day at the same time for the programmed amount of time. You can set them for 4, 8, 12 hours. They have already revived some of my dying houseplants! The adjustable height is nice, make sure you watch the plants over a few days. I had one arm too short and it dried out some flowers pretty quickly. Once I adjusted it the plant was fine. These were also super easy to set up, right out of the box. ... show more

This little lamp is perfect! Sometimes a plant just looks so good in a certain spot that just gets precious little light! This little lamp works so well! I bought these lights from Amazon six months ago, and overall, they've served me well. One thing that impressed me was the seller's commitment to standing behind their product when I encountered an issue. That kind of customer service is always a plus in my book. However, after using them for a while, a few drawbacks have become apparent. Firstly, they have a tendency to slant as the soil dries out, especially in shallower pots. This can be a bit frustrating as it affects the uniformity of light distribution. Secondly, if you're someone who likes to water your plants in the sink, be prepared for your plants to be tethered to the outlet. The short cord length might pose a limitation in such situations. Lastly, if you're planning to use a smart plug with these lights, be aware that they don't turn back on by themselves when the power is cycled. This could be an inconvenience if you rely on automation for your lighting schedule. Despite these issues, I still think these lights are good for what they are.     • Timer Not Working After 2 Weeks

*UPDATE* I am leaving my prior review below, but adding an update. The company reached out and sent me a new set of three lights, and they truly do work. They don't get hot like the others, they are bright, and for a week the timers have been working properly. I am very happy with the new ones and the excellent customer service. *PRIOR 1 STAR REVIEW* (1) The Timer: I enjoyed these lights, for two weeks. Since then the timer stopped working. I have tried figuring it out for the last week, but they have gone rogue. They either stay on constantly, or turn off then turn back on randomly. I read a different review that warned of this, thought I would take my chances, but now I regret it. (2) The lights get dangerously hot. Specifically, the boxes that plug into the wall must be made from a very cheap material because they actually burned my skin to the touch. I was scared of a fire, so I swapped all the boxes with extra ones that I have at one and plugged the USB into those instead. Now the temp is fine, but cost me 3 boxes to make it work. ... show more
