What a stunning chandelier! It is beautiful lit up as well as during the day. It's elegant and fun. You can see the swirls in the glass when hung, even at 12' from the floor. Where do I start? Chandelier arrived before Thanksgiving and it took me about 3 hours to put it together - the wire hooks are very irregular (either too tight and they don't fit on the Fram or too loose and the balls fall off the frame in the process of installing their neighbors) - so in the process I shattered a few glass balls and had to clean up. My fingers were hurting from installing the hooks and my arms were asleep from keeping them up in the air for so long. Finally I was done and turned on the light - there was a click and the lights went off - I called my electrician, he came and explained that the wires inside the chandelier were not properly insulated and caused a "short" - this visit cost me $70 dollars and he said I need to get a replacement part. I contacted customer service and they sent me a new insert with bulb sockets. But in the meantime it was Thanksgiving so I had to reinstall the old chandelier. Finally today I spend another 3 hours putting the chandelier together. Very flimsy, again I lost a few bigger bulbs due to quality of the wire hooks - I am dreading to think how I will dust it (I am sure balls will fall off) or how long it will take to change the bulb. The instructions on you tube are not specific - by trial and error I discovered that you need to start on the bottom and mix the balls as you go along. I like the look but the quality of hooks makes the process of putting together unbreable and maintenance will be a problem. Do not buy unless you have a lot of time on your hands, need to destroy your manicure and need a lot of aggrevation. I do not think I will keep it..... ... show more

This chandelier is gorgeous! It looks just like the Visual Comfort Talia but for a whole lot less $$$! The chandelier comes in two big boxes. One is the metal structure plus some glass globes. The other box is full of just the glass globes. It’s a little bit overwhelming as there are just over 100 glass globes included. INSTALL TIPS: I mistakenly hung this too low because I did not account for the glass globes. So I had the pleasure of installing this and then taking all of the glass globes off and reinstalling it a second time. However my pain will help you install this easier. The instructions that it comes with aren’t that great but honestly it’s not too hard. However I would recommend to go to the Visual Comfort website and look at the installation instructions there for how they suggest how to place the glass bulbs. Those instructions should just be a guideline though as it won’t be perfect, I’m assuming because the dimensions might be off a little bit, and you’ll have some empty spaces and a lot of leftover glass bulbs. So add in some extra globes as you see fit. I highly recommend you to install the clips on the structure first and then put the glass globes on, you’ll need some pliers for the large clips. As you are going through the glass globes look at the hole where the clips go as I had a few that had some small cracks in that area and you would want to throw those ones away. I also had several fully broken globes even though they were packaged perfectly. But no worries as you get extras and after all was done I still had a few leftover. The only negative that I have about this is that all of the metal for everything is just painted gold. On the chain you can see some spaces that weren’t painted. So that’s cheap and I almost returned it because of that. But I’m glad I didn’t as the chandelier really is AMAZING looking! ... show more
