    • The tank filter sucks and so does their customer service
The media could not be loaded. I've had a coffee table fish tank for over 33 yrs (octagon) I decided to get another one like this. This is a piece of junk. The filter doesn't work. The rocks collect algae. It doesn't matter what I do or what I buy. Meanwhile I've lost several fish because I keep having to clean it. NO ONE returns my calls. Etc. this was over $1200 by the time I paid for shipping. I'd go somewhere else frankly. ... show more

I used for a slightly different project but this is literally the only octagonal off thw shell tank you'll find. Cheap but good

    • Great tank! New light design needed
Nice tank! The lights that come with it are great for the shop or laundry room but not the tank. Lighting from the bottom is a waste of time. Get new rocks, not the ones that come with it, and a ring light to light it from the top. You will need to buy a heater also.

I bought this aquarium against the advice of an "aquarium specialist", who felt the aquarium would not have adequate circulation. Bottom line, it works great! People are always amazed how beautiful it looks. It is also very practical to clean and maintain. I've had it for almost 2 years now, and it still looks brand new!
