I read a review describing this polish shade of "Bare" as giving the impression of having "doll fingernails." I don't know much about doll fingernails, but I was intrigued enough to try it. I often like having a neutral shade that doesn't compete with the clothing I'm wearing or the rings that I want to have the focus on. This color is absolutely perfect. One coat gives a very sheer sheen that makes the nails look natural but "perfected." Two coats give a more uniform coverage that still looks very natural. It doesn't "read" as an added color, but is a very sophisticated neutral. Yes, I can see where one might consider this as a perfect doll fingernail. Then, on a whim one night, I tried using this "Bare" color as a top coat to tone down another color that was too bright for the look I wanted. To my delight, it truly toned down the brightness, giving a more subtle pearlized sheen that was exactly the color I wanted. I'm excited to try it on top of every other color of polish that I have. It's like doubling my collection of polish colors! Love, love, love this polish! I'm ordering more to be sure I have it in case they decide to discontinue it. ... show more

I read about this in IG many times, and saw that it was ( of course ) on Amazon... I do not usually pay more than $9.00 a bottle for Polish, but since AMAZON is so reliable and I read the reviews, I treated myself. The 1st time I wore it, I got 2 compliments ...I never get compliments on my nails, although I always keep them polished and neat. My brother who I never realized even noticed polish, stated, " Your Nails look very nice" - his wifey always wears dark colors and he said,"Why don't you wear this to her..." This is quite a statement from a middle aged very conservative man. I suggest you try it if you want a milky sheer white in one coat, dries super fast and looks posh ... show more

This polish makes such a difference in the appearance of my natural nails. I got the Milky White color. My natural nail tips are kind of yellow, but the polish makes them look white & it looks like I have French tips. It covers my blemishes & is such a pretty color. In the picture I did 2 coats of OPI Nail Envy, one coat of Milky white & Seche Vite fast dry top coat. I also have the pink color, which has some iridescence to it & love that one too! The brush is the perfect shape and size and makes painting your nails so easy. All brushes should have this shape. It is a bit pricy, but I love it so much, will continue to buy it. ... show more

I bought in hopes of saving money/time on a gel polish pedi for presentable toes at the pool. It took 2 coats and maybe 5 minutes and I think this polish is pretty decent. It would probaly look much better with a top coat. It is perfect for a low maintence gal and mom like myself looking for the DIY gel polish appearance without all the lamps and prep work. I received it on Fri and applied 2 coats that evening. It held up well over the weekend (while cooking, doing dishes, amd cleaning). Even after 2 long hot baths, it hadn't chipped. The finish didn't offer quite as much coverage/smoothness as I'd hoped as I could still see the ridges quite well in my nails. So these pics show 3 coats on my nails. I am half Asian and my skin has a yellow undertone. I wasn't entirely certain which shade to buy. This is the Bare one. I'm satisfied with it, but might try a different shade if/when I purchase again. It's still too soon to tell how this will hold up over time and whether it will make the $20 expense worth it. ... show more

If you don’t have the patience to do your own nails, try this! I’ve been really gullible to Instagram ads lately, and with some disappointments, but this was SUCH a win! I bought “pink,” and it looks a lot like OPI Bubble Bath, so super subtle. I think this is the main color shown in the ads, and I was confused because I wouldn’t have classified it as simply pink, but I got the color I wanted. I almost never have painted nails because even gel doesn’t last long enough and therefore isn’t worth the money for me, and I can’t sit still long enough to not ruin polish when I do it myself. This stuff dries way faster (I’d compare it to Essie expressie, but with a nicer finish that looks complete/full gloss even without a clear topcoat). The consistency is well, consistent! It’s sheer but goes on really even, and it isn’t super thick - I’ve found I like the coverage of three coats, but it doesn't get globby or make it more vulnerable to peeling/chipping. I finish it with the Essie expressive clear top coat, but again, it looks great on its own. It wears well, though I’m a picker, so after a week it’s ready for a redo on me. But it’s so easy and fuss free to apply, and actually does dry/cure properly; no more waking up with fabric imprints in the polish! This was a worthwhile buy for me, and I’m sure I’ll use up the whole bottle. ... show more

I've never been one to regularly paint my nails or go to a salon, because I generally find polishes to dry out my nails and cause damage (even so-called strengthening ones). I was excited about this one's potential to strengthen my weak nails and help with the occasional discoloration, and for the first two or three weeks, I was thrilled and even bought more to give as gifts. It goes on smoothly and doesn't get clumpy; the odor is strong but dissipates upon drying. The color is a pretty, pearlescent pink, barely brighter than my natural nails. Unfortunately, it's now been about 6 weeks of regular use and my nails are far softer and yellowed than they were before I started using it. Maybe it's because I've been taking it off with regular nail polish remover at least once/week to do a new coat - but it chips after a day or two, so I can't go much longer than that without starting fresh. TLDR: not the miracle I was hoping for, but a fine neutral to use for a short period of time. ... show more
