I think these should be priced at half what they are priced at for the quality - it is very thin, but it looks beautiful, I’m not sure how to wash it - it didn’t come with cleaning instructions, a few gold flakes came off but it is very beautiful. I’m not sure how long it will last though the quality isn’t all that great - shouldn’t be so expensive so you can buy a new one when it wears down. idk if I really needed the large size but I was worried the small would be too small, however, it probably would’ve been just fine - I wouldn’t it it in a high traffic area. ... show more

Maybe I didn’t read the descrip. This is a rug MADE OF FELT. They are charging the same price you’d pay for a REAL HIDe. It is unbelievable how cheap this piece of felt is. I saw the same size/style recently at World Market. It was the SAME PROXE as this one but it was a REAL HIDE. I —-SUPPORT— hides that are FAKE but I do NOT support selling FELT and FAKE hides at hide PRICES. Call it fake and charge accordingly. I will never buy from this brand again. I got the 3×5 and I wish I would have went for the larger one, but I didn't want it to be "too much". Its not, its lovely. I was concerned that the gold or champagne/Ivory would look too sparkly and cheesy but it doesn't. I prefer to this fab faux to the cheaper real cowhide and it looks much better! ... show more

I really love this rug and is the perfect rug in my fireplace lounge area in my large master bedroom. It's beautiful and a bit blingy. :) I wasn't sure to expect from this rug. Some of the reviews was that it was thin or cheap looking but I found the overall thickness, texture and quality to be very good. It's not a heavy pile like a faux sheepskin but it's pleasant, soft and beautiful. I had a hard time imagining the material but it feels kind of like a soft felt with a bit more short plush on top. The champagne color I ordered was very beautiful with gentle colors of off white and tan-ish. It comes off as off-white. If you're looking for bright white this is not it. Not sure how durable. I bought this rug hoping that the short fur would be ok with my robo vacuum. The current faux fur sheepskin I had was too furry and my robovac would get stuck. So, hoping it vacuums and holds up well. I will post an update. ... show more

    • Where are these "bling cows" being raised?

Product was just as described. We have had it for a couple months now and it still retains it's shape and lays flat (no curling edges). The metallic highlights are not just glued on, they seem to be integrated into the skin...making me secretly hope there is a breed of "bling" cows running around somewhere. We have 2 dogs and a Roomba that traverse the rug daily and so far the fur still lays best and directional. Very happy overall. ... show more
