    • I would pay the same money (or more) for a set without the in-line digital control dongle
First off, I love the clarity of the sound. But, but, but, digital control dongle is a big negative. Not only it does not add any value in terms of functionality - all these functions can be more conveniently managed using the interface of the computer/phone application people are using to make their calls - it actually makes things more complicated. It is very large and very heavy - it pulls the cable down and hangs like a fishing rod sink. Due to its enormous size and weight this sink catches everything on the surface of your desk and drags it around. Worse, this dragging can accidentally activate some of the numerous buttons on its surface. Logitech's own advertising images show people looking at their computer monitors, with both hands on the keyboards - this heavy dongle is not even in the picture. Clearly, the people on these images would prefer to control all functionality of their headset from their computer rather than raising their hand away from the keyboard to try to find and grab the dangling dongle, then, after not finding it with their hands, moving their eyes away from the screens to look for it, then trying to find the right button on it for the control they would like to use, and finally, pushing the wrong one by accident and disconnecting. I understand that the chip in it makes for better margins, but it adds zero value to a user, so I would rather pay the same price for it if Logitech got rid of it altogether. Additional comments - after I cancelled the return and decided to keep it instead. I kept it for a sole reason of quality of sound - every little bit of clarity counts when you are on a conference call with a bunch of people from several continents. Still, I would prefer a headset that is focused on delivering the single specific function people expect from it - quality sound. And not an overengineered piece that has its own operating system. And that is not an exaggeration - when you push 'Mute' button on Skype, Zoom, etc. - it detects it and a woman's voice says 'Mute is ON' or 'Mute is OFF'. I live in a small apartment and having family in the other room talking made meetings with clients really stressful. Literally my home had to be silent. Since I got these it really has saved me from embarrassing phone calls with kid screaming in the background or banging on my door during meetings. This headset literally blocked all that out. If your child is screaming or crying in the same area then it can pick up some of the back noise. My voice to callers sounded clear to them. I even banged on my desk during a test call and my coworker did not hear it. I spent a while researching different microphones and took a chance with Logitech. I am super happy with them.     • Very good, not perfect
On my Mac, I like to have system sounds come through the main speakers and Zoom meeting audio come through the headset. But with that configuration, the volume control won’t control the Zoom meeting’s volume. This is annoying but not necessarily a deal-breaker. I have yet to try the headset on a PC, so I’m not sure if it exhibits the same issue or not (I’ll update this review when I get a chance to try it). ... show more

    • Noise cancellation for meetings
The noise cancellation seem to work well even with my son crying or watching tv next to me when I was in a meeting. The mic auto muted and unmutes as you swing the mic up or bring it down for talking. It also announces when the mic mutes and unmutes. Wish I had bought the wireless ones so I can use with my cell phone as well or have the freedom to move around, but I’ve read some reviews that the noise cancellation on the wireless version didn’t work for some, but I still hoped to at least try the wireless ones first and change to the wired version if it does have issues. Worked fantastic for work laptop with limited permissions. Plugged in and was instantly able to get noise cancellation on zoom calls so my coworkers can’t hear my neighbor working In his garage or my 4 dogs that love to bark in the next room or my AC that is positioned directly behind me. Overall, the headset is quite comfortable. But . . . after prolonged wearing, it starts feeling heavy to the point when you remove it, your head feels a ton lighter. I got these because with my old headphones, my colleagues could hear my husband on the phone clearly (we share an office). I did some research and this pair came highly recommended. They are fantastic! The dual mic noise suppression works extremely well. My coworkers can't hear my husband at all anymore, even though he's 3 feet away. And they are comfy!     • Amazing sound and feel!
I've used another Logitech headset for so long the headband finally broke which is why I purchased a new one. I just LOVE this new headset! The memory foam earpieces create a great fit and the sound quality is amazing! I also love the mute button on the cord for when I'm in Zoom meetings.
