Top Amazon Reviews

  • Comfortable, convenient, INSANE battery life
Color: Black Pattern: Headset
Comfort: These are nearly as comfortable as my daily Asto a40s. The Pro X2s come with two different types of ear cups; the default leather-ish cups and the breathable cloth cups. I use the cloth cups in an attempt to emulate the supreme comfort of the a40s, and I would say it's close. Their light weight and swivel design definitely contribute to their comfort. I can wear these for 4+ hours and not feel fatigue or sweatiness. Bluetooth: I didn't expect this functionality be so useful. With the press of the Bluetooth button, it will exit/enter Bluetooth mode, allowing you to switch between the 2.4GHz dongle connection and the Bluetooth connection within seconds. I found this useful when I'm on a discord call on my PC, and I get a phone call. I quickly mute myself on discord and then press the Bluetooth button, allowing me to use the headset to take the phone call. It's a useful feature in general if I want to switch from my PC to my phone to continue a YouTube video or just listen to music on one or the other. Battery Life: I purchased this 8 days ago. It had around 70-80% battery left. I've used it every day (easily over 10 hours in total) and it's at 50%. A good 4 hours of this usage was using the mic. I find this battery life to be insanely great. I have no anxiety of these things running out of battery mid-session. It's exceptional. Sound Quality: As a preface, I'm accustomed to the sound quality of the Sony WH-1000XM5s ($400) and the Airpod Pros Gen 2 ($250). Both of these devices sound incredibly good, but they're significantly more expensive (the Airpod Pros being priced similarly, but only being earbuds instead of over-the-ear). The Logitech G Pro X 2s do not sound as good as those mentioned, but they still sound good and clear. I will say, I reach for these as general use headphones (even for music), because of their comfort and long battery life. They're more than good enough to use as regular headphones for me, and clearly I'm willing to use them over better sounding options. Mic Quality: The mic sounds fine, but isn't as good as it should be for the price of this headset. I purchased it for $189.99, and I still think the mic should be better for that price. At MSRP of $250, it's verging on unacceptable to me. It's not a bad mic to be clear. My friends can understand me clearly, but they did say it sounds worse than my Astro a40s, which are $130 (albeit wired). I think the mic is fine, and I don't think it should be a deal breaker unless you want to record your voice for something, but you should probably have a dedicated mic for that anyways. Conclusion: Writing this review has made it even more clear to me that I really like this headset. It's combination of comfort, battery life and Bluetooth is amazing. I think it's a great all-rounder wireless headset if you want something for PC gaming/chat, but also just a Bluetooth headset for your phone. ... show more

  • Damn near best unit on the market.
Color: Black Pattern: Headset
Headset suffered a failure of the right speaker (speaker impedance fell from factory 38 ohms to about 11 ohms indicated possible short), after 1 day short of 1 year of use at about 4-8 hrs use daily. Logitech honored the warranty and has replaced the unit, and the replacement unit is functioning wonderfully. Outside of one-off failure modes, the headband is metal and very durable (very hard to find), the ear cups are large enough to wrap around larger ears even with glasses on, and the sound profile is overall very good for gaming/music purposes with a lean towards a deeper richer tone. I had to use another brand's headphones while seeking warranty replacement from roughly the same price range, and the difference in performance for comfort and sound profile was genuinely painful. Even if these were to suffer a speaker failure again, I'd buy them on account of the robustness of the physical design and the overall comfort of the unit. Once again, Logitech does honor warranties, and I'm more then happy to positively review companies that stand behind their products. ... show more

  • Premium Headset
Color: Black Pattern: Headset
Pros: The quality, sound, materials, design, and ergonomics of this headset are superb. If you buy this, you're going to get a premium headset for sure. Cons: The mic sound is not very good, although is acceptable for a detachable and gaming microphone, is not as quite premium as the other characteristics of the headset. Note: If you want to get all the sound quality from this headset, you have to connect it with a jack 3.5mm (included in the box) to your device. That's because the dongle only admits 16bit - 48000hz (DVD Quality), while with a 3.5mm jack cable, you can get up to 32 bits and way more Hz (Studio Quality). ... show more

  • Great quality build, absolutely terrible sound
Color: White Pattern: Headset
When I first opened the box, I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality. The use of metal and solid plastics gave it a really good feel and made it clear that this was built very well, and once I used the woven ear pads, the headset was quiet comfortable (though the headband was a little stiff for my liking, but headset comfort is subjective). However, once I turned them on and started using them, I was really disappointed to find that the audio quality is really bad for the price. Like, bad to the point that they sound like the headphones given to people on airplanes. I’m no audiophile, but the sound quality was distractingly terrible compared to other headsets I had in the house. I looked up the issue and spent days trying to figure out if there was something I was missing, but eventually it turned out that the speaker quality was just bad, no matter how I modified the eq. If these were 50 or 100$, I would give them a pass, but for a 250$ headset I think it’s fair to expect more. The mic is not great, but it will get the job done. Other than that, these headphones nail everything else: they look sleek, are comfortable, and have great options for connectivity (Bluetooth, 2.4 ghz, and audio jack). But with this sound quality, you are better off looking elsewhere in this price range. I ended up returning these and getting the black shark v2 2023 edition. This pair of headphones have their own problems too, like not having an audio jack and sometimes having faint white noise. However, when it comes to mic and sound quality, they blow the Logitech headphones out of the water, and for 50 dollars less. The difference is night and day, and the funny thing is, the black sharks themselves don’t have sound quality that is super great since they are still noticeably worse than the Sony xm4s, so that’s how you know how bad the Logitech headphones are. If you don’t want razer (which is understandable), Arctis and turtle beach offer way better options that these. While these headphones get a lot right, the fail miserably in the most important areas like sound and mic quality, and for this exorbitant price, I would avoid them at all costs. It honestly shocks me that these have so many positive reviews, I would have expected more people to be upset. ... show more
