I am reviewing this beautifully crafted keyboard because I love the way it it feels and looks. I can go back and fourth from the MX keys to this board no problem and still have the same speed and feel. It is a bit on the pricey side but well worth it if you want a solid mechanical keyboard. I have used the mechanical MX keys and that didn’t come close to the Lofree as far as smoothness and “thock”. This keyboard is also smaller more compact than the full sized MX keys. The full sized Lofree is also slightly lighter than the MX keys (1.60ibs) and the full sized MX is (1.75ibs). The cons I have with this keyboard is 1. No USB dongle for work computers (only wired) 2. The shift key to the right is shorter and takes some time getting used to. 3. Does not come with shine through key caps. 4. On the pricey side. 5. I accidentally hit the print screen above the back space sometimes and it screen shots the whole screen. 6. The LED is not that bright. 7. I cannot figure out how to get F keys to work with my Mac. I have put it in FN-M (Mac) mode but the keys just function as media function keys as default (volume control, keyboard brightness…etc). The number lock also does not work with my Mac either. The media could not be loaded. I debated getting this keyboard for nearly a month-- the price tag was a bit high for me because I am strictly using it for work/typing. I was mainly looking for something that was (mechanical) high-quality, had a nice sound to it, user-friendly, and sleek/low-profile. It checks all of these boxes and I especially love the sound. It reminds me of the noise of muffled rain hitting a roof-- it's creamy, not clacky or clicky (it sounds deeper in person than in my video) The weight and construction of it is great, and it was extremely easy to set up. The instructions are only in Chinese, but I don't think I'll end up needing them so this isn't an issue for me. All-in-all, I still feel the price tag is a bit high compared to others, but worth it for me because I do spend a lot of time typing/on my computer and I want it to be an enjoyable experience. If you are debating, I don't think you would be disappointed with this option as it's a truly beautiful design-- Lofree knows what they're doing! ... show more

    • Probably the most comfortable keyboard I've typed on to date.
I didn't know what to expect from this keyboard at this price point. I couldn't justify it in my mind, but once I used it for a few days... Well. My mind began to shift into an understanding I didn't have before. It's very smooth to type on but the keys do have some weight to them, yet it's not too much. They have a clicky response but it's not loud at all. Not clunky. Tactile, I would say. The harder you press or type, the more of a sound they have. (I think that should be obvious?) Very low profile. The right shift key is smaller than I'm used to, so that was a bit weird to get used to and I still don't quite like that.. HOWEVER, this keyboard has an entire numpad at this smaller size! That is the reason the shift key is as small as it is, but it's quite worth the tradeoff in my opinion. I've only used the keyboard via USB C as I personally don't care for the Bluetooth functionality, but I presume it works just as well since BT has come very far and works very well. The backlighting is very subtle but it's nice there is some. (Wish it could go a few clicks brighter.) My only dislike is that compared to my other keyboard, which was only around 70-90 USD, this keyboard doesn't have flip tabs on the back that allow you raise the height of it. You can't adjust the height of it at all, in any way. (At least that I am aware of. Maybe they have something you could order separately.) It's flat always. I would like a slight tilt on the keyboard angled toward me, personally. Other than that, this is a premium item! The build quality is exceptional. Very attractive design and compact. Also absolutely loving how it feels to type on - great for everyday use. The white back light is not all that but didnt bother me much as the typing experience is pretty good. Kinda pricey but worth the cost. No problem with performance and connectivity👍👍

    • Fantastic typing feel - lacks just about everything else
Typing feel is by far the best on any low profile mechanical keyboard. But that's where it ends. At this price point, you should be able to choose the color of the keyboard along with the switch type (which is more expensive than just about any other low profile keyboard on the market). No customization whatsoever - how it's configured when you get it, is how it stays throughout use. Backlight is more or less there to say it has it as it doesn't come with shine through keycaps. The MFG literally offers one type of separate keycaps which are outrageously priced in comparison to other companies (also doesn't even offer a simple black / white keycap set to purchase separately which it already makes). There's three types of switches, one of which can't even be purchased when buying a keyboard. Linear and tactile switches are tied to the color of the keyboard you choose. With all of the cons out of the way, this is BY FAR the best typing feel on a linear or tactile low profile keyboard. If you're doing some basic office work and type a good amount, you'll love this. If you're in a creative industry and will require even the most basic form of customization, look for other options. PS - battery life is sub-par especially at this price point. With regular use, expect to be charging at a very slow speed at least once a week. ... show more

The build quality is great, the materials are premium, and the full POM switches are just amazing and only get better after a couple of days of tipping. Using it on a Mac with no problems so far. Thinking about getting the 75% for travel.
