I purchased this doodle board for my child's second birthday. We can take the doodle board just about everywhere. It's light weight and easily fits in our baby backpack. It keeps my child occupied when we're out and about at restaurants or long car rides. My child has spent twice as much time playing with the doodle board than her tablet. It gives her the freedom to express her creativity in drawings, and allows her to easily erase drawings, whereas on a tablet she would get frustrated, and end up asking for help. Colors are no where near as bright as the ad pictures. Also drawn pictures in the advertising show crisp edges, not so much. Otherwise, it is a good doodle board.
