A good rug. Love the dark color. Hoping this will keep our house a little warmer this winter. Out of the packaging, there were some wrinkles but I’m sure they will fade after a while. It’s soft, but not thick. If you aren’t laying it over carpet, I’d recommend getting a rug pad to go underneath. Haven't had to try to clean it yet, but vacuuming it was easy. I was hesitant about shag but I'm glad I took a chance I love it and have had many compliments on this rug. We got new LVP floors and our couch is so heavy and had a long support bars underneath we didn't want it setting and causing indentations so we opted for this for under the couch.
