Description

USAGE Making cloth strip: cut into parallel cloth strips with 45 degree angle according to the width you need. With the reverse side of the fabric bias tape maker facing up, insert the made cloth from the wide opening, and use the tip of the awl to pull out the cloth from the front of the belt maker. Fix the front end of the pulled cloth strip on the ironing board with a ball pins. While pulling the belt conveyor, make the iron close to the front end of the belt conveyor, so that the pulled cloth belt can be ironed immediately. Seems pretty good, but there were a couple issues. It is metric, so you need to convert. That isn't a big deal, but something to know before purchase. The case is handy but came with one latch broken. The foot does work, but seems flimsy. I don't think it will have much longevity, but is fine for my purposes. First time using a bias tape maker -- watched video to see how best to hold, etc. This set has simplified the process and sped up the process. I use light spray starch on the material and that seems to help hold the pressed bias tape. Definitely buy them! They arrived very quickly and packed well with no damage. ... show more

Gosh, I hate to give this a mediocre review, but this set just would not work for me. Using it with blue jean material in a continuous bias. Wherever they where pieced together jammed up. I finally had to stop and cut the material to get it off. It seems like a well made metric set, and in this photo I took a marker and wrote the closest fractional size to each. I tried the sewing foot provided, but it was very flimsy and wasn't worth the time it took putting it on. I ended up making my bias folds by sight and that worked fine. I suspect the smaller sizes below the largest 1" (25mm) would be even harder to use. The set most likely will be just stuck in the dust bin of tried but not worth it sewing aids. ... show more

Okay, so this came with no instructions, but there are videos on the listing. It has a bit of a learning curve, and I had to work to figure it out, and was about to give up and chock this to money wasted.
