Took a risk buying this couch online instead of one in person, and also because there weren't many reviews, but the ones I read helped, so I took the plunge. So glad I did! Love it!! Meets all our needs. In person, it is beautiful. The storage capability inspired my interest in this type of couch to begin with since we have small amount of square footage so we need to maximize every inch of space we can. The storage is easy to access and is so beneficial for our home organization. I did hours of research and compared to other couches with storage, these seats are deeper and backs are taller for more support (Good for my 6 ft, 255 lb husband too). Backs are comfortable and there is no odd clicking plastic sound in our couch mentioned in another review. The backs, sides and seat are very padded and cushy, yet firm. It's a comfortable soft, yet firm for all of us (including a teenager with friends) to sit on, lay or sleep. The fabric is lovely, so soft, and its kinda like a suede velvet. The nap is very short, not like regular velvet, actually I wouldnt think of it as velvet. It is wonderful for cats, if they try to scratch (which is not often - they dont seem drawn to it), it doesnt show anything!! Also, easy to clean up spills. Does not fray or get loose fabric threads, fabric is strong and durable. So, great for cats and kids. We previously considered recliners, but preferred versatility of this modular couch. It can shape shift whenever you want (the connectors easily unscrew), and you can also recline on it. And if one day we want less couch we can put a few pieces in storage. We have an odd shape room and limited amount of space, so being able to customize it, since its modular, is very helpful. Also, I was worried, from the internet pictures, it would be a stark cool white, but in our home with our white walls (Simply White - Benjamin Moore) it is a warm white, more like a super light ivory, which is what I had been wanting, so that was a nice surprise to find. Also, in person it's a modern, yet minimalistic looking couch (to me). We purchased the 7 piece L Shape Corner Sofa, but originally purchased one armchair before we bought the couch. We're using both, so there are 8 pieces in the pictures. Came in 13 boxes at same time, shipped quickly, nothing was damaged, all was packed/protected well. Easy to put together- I used the written and video instructions. We were missing some hardware and the seller was super easy and kind to work with. They responded timely and we received our hardware timely. Very nice. If your needs are like mine, I highly recommend this lovely couch!! Just wanted to add that the couch is sturdy/strong as well. Also, we stuck felt pads underneath every wooden leg (nice quality), so we can easily move the pieces/couch when we want to, and to protect our floors. It has now been a week from the day I set this up and put it to use. Delivery was quick. It only took 4 days from the date I placed my order to receiving it. The item came in multiple boxes which I liked because in this way it is easier to transport the pieces to my living room. What I like so far is the storage underneath each seating units. They're very useful to store the lumbar pillows that I am not using and keep smaller blankets hidden away to use for colder days. The Grey is lighter than the seller's pictures but I have no complaint here about the color because it is a nice shade to match my wall color. It's got a texture look to the fabric but feels very smooth like a microfiber sofa. I like that it is modular so I can rearrange it to different layouts if I ever get bored of the arrangement, and it accommodates any living space area if I move out. I love that the backrest are bendable. If I accidentally drop something behind the sofa, I can just bend the backrest and reach down to get it. The fabric is easy to wipe and clean if my kids spill drink or get food on it. What I don't like so much are the backrest. I don't know exactly what type of materials the manufacturer use to make the backrest/armrest bendable but it feels like some sort of flexible metal. When leaning on the backrest without the lumbar pillows I can feel the bars on my back. I do wish the lumbar pillows are the same size as the backrest/armrest because that will make the back 10x's more comfortable. Another thing about the backrest pieces is that there seems to be some kind of plastic material which makes it sound kind of cheap. It's hard to hear the plastic unless I'm pressing against the backrest. The sound of rustling plastic sheets is more noticeable from the center when push on it. Although modular it won't be as simple as just moving the pieces and snapping them in place. The connectors will need to be unscrew and reattach with the tool that it came with, or similar tool. I got the corner set with the 2 hexagon units and it was a bit challenge to connect the pieces together when the holes on the two connecting units are diagonal from each other. It's possible but just a little bit more challenging than the ones that just line up straight across to each other. The seats are still firm after a week's usage but I hope it will soften more overtime and get more comfortable as time goes. The first few days that I sat on this I got a headache from it because it was too firm for my comfort level. I am still debating if I want to keep this set because the backrest/armrest inner materials are questionable and they're not too comfortable when resting my back on it. The lumbar pillows don't improve the comfort by much unless I stack two on top of each other to form a full size cushion to match the same size as the back piece. ... show more

Build quality 10/10 Material Quality 10/10 Assembly difficulty 10/10 Price 10/10 This is ACTUAL VELVET let's start there. Also it is super comfortable and huge. We have 4 cats and 2 kids. It is super easy to clean, surprisingly so. They should've charged more.

Everything is amazing, storage, durability, feel and look. So many ways to stage. Dual purposes. Great on animals and cat hair. Service response is fast and easily handled. We had one issue and a replacement was sent immediately. Just can't say enough about it.

I love this sectional, ran into some problems but they fixed it and looked out for me. I ordered a grey set ended up missing one piece and two of the sofas was blue.... the more I looked at it I loved it. Customer service sent my missing piece and offered to change them out or give me one extra piece... my extra piece just arrived so it's not in the picture but I love the decision I made getting this set and feel special because not to many people will have my unique design. remember they gave me an extra piece that is not in the picture ... show more
