Im really glad I found these retractable leashes. I like to hang out in the garage with my dog without worrying about him running off. I used some paracord as a leash prior but it would get tangled up and obviously wouldnt retract. Mounted the bracket inside the door and its holding up fine. My dog has a little freedom to walk around the driveway and garage and I dont have to worry about him wandering off or getting tangled up. I bought the set that came with both the mountable bracket and the stake. So far , I'd say it was worth the money. Ill update in the future if something changes. But for now Im happy with the purchase and so is my pup. ... show more

Works good used primarily as a temporary tie out but wouldn't mind seeing a model in the future with a little more range
