I had a similar cane previously, but it had a hard, curved grip that kept slipping and a single point base. This cane has been life changing. The 4 point base provides far more stability, and the foam handle with finger grips is far more comfortable than my previous one. I'm less tired from using this one. The stable base is also great because I can stand it up beside me when I need to use both hands for a moment, without fear that it will slide to the ground and cause a new problem for me. The foot is not large enough or not heavy enough. Every time I set it down it fell over especially outside. Made my life more difficult. It was hard to adjust settings. The cane itself was nice and packaged well. Had to return it.
