I really am pretty impressed with these. don't get me wrong, I am not a super knowledgeable scissors critic or anything but I wanted a pair of scissors that would just freaking cut stuff of the full length of the blades without skipping a spot about half way down and making me move them forward or back to get a better cut and only being able to use a 2in segment of an 8" blade (ok, rant over) these accomplished what I wanted. they cut nicely from the back of the blades all the way to the tip with no skips slips or glitches. will they hold up and keep cutting over time and use? I don't know. if I remember to do so I will add to this review after a while and let you know. ... show more

Cheap isn't always the best way to go especially when it comes to scissors. I had about six different cheap pairs and none of them are worth a toot. So I broke down to buy some that actually work, and I based it on customer reviews figuring they have nothing to gain other than to share their views. I’m left-handed so quite frankly, scissors are a huge pain for me; As you can see in my pictures* (where I did it out of habit in one or two lol), I’ve spent 90% of my life shoving three fingers into the thumb hole and my thumb into the long opening so that the blades will be in the right direction... however... I am happy to report that these scissors work great in any way you hold them. They are GREAT scissors for crafting and art, and for my purposes they worked great. I work with a lot of thicker fabrics like sweatshirt-material, vegan leathers, and plastic, pleather-like materials, and it has been able to cut through all of those with ease. I am petite, not strong and have a weak grip to be honest too, btw 😂. I first tried them out to “crop” a hoodie into a crop top, and as I said in the title, it was like cutting through paper. I’ve since cut a lot of other fabrics, as mentioned. Really works great for that type of thing and therefore, I’d imagine, anything that’s easier to cut through. The best part about that is that weaker or duller scissors tend to make thick fabrics fray or mess up the integrity of the product: Not with these. IMO, I think these are as good as more expensive craft scissors, plus the oil-slick rainbow type coloring on the blades is just aesthetically pleasing and makes the scissors cooler.... well, as cool as scissors can be, I guess, anyway 😂. I really like them & they’re good looking scissors. Lastly, and you can stop here if you’re already sold lol... but... because I work with dyeing a lot of fabrics, I often work outside when I can, and, because I am an idiot, I accidentally left the scissors outside all day & *overnight* last week!! AND because Murphy’s Law is real, that night had the biggest thunderstorm with the heaviest rain I’ve ever seen where I live😂. It was truly torrential rain. But bc I didn’t realize they were out there, they sat in a shallow puddle until about mid-way through the next day💔. Long story short, I’m sure they would have eventually, so I don’t recommend this LOL, but.... they didn’t rust or tarnish in any way shape or form (pictures taken AFTER this happened)!!!!! I mention this specifically because the other items I accidentally left outside with it (an exacto-type razor/knife and some small jewelry-making tools) DID rust within that same period of time, sitting right next to the scissors. Only a bit, but still, I thought it spoke on the quality and integrity of the product that the scissors stayed in good condition and was therefore worth mentioning. I hope this helped someone find their perfect crafting scissors :) —- *BTW, for dignity’s sake, incase anyone didn’t realize, I gotta say my fingernails/hands are nasty bc of said dye. The media could not be loaded. Extremely disappointed!! These scissors are not good. Some parts of the blade do not cut the fabric. The handles are not comfortable to hold while cutting and heavy. I do not like anything about them. Total waste of money!!

These are quality scissors. At first glance they appear to be very well made and balanced. When I first tried them, I thought they were a bit stiff ( I guess my old ones are really loose and in bad shape) but I cut some heavy canvas fabric and it cut it easily and they felt good in my hands; they felt substantial, but not heavy at all in my hands. The media could not be loaded. The video says it all. These scissors are not sharp at the end, as you can clearly see. I find it very annoying; they are basically useless. I sew and these definitely DO NOT cut it. ☹️

Use them every day at work. Exceptional quality for the price! I might have to put in another order because all my coworkers want to borrow them all the time because they are so comfortable on the hands to use, even cutting through several layers of foam and vinyl.
