It’s a piece of fabric with a rug design printed on it. It’s not a weaved rug. It does have some cushion but if you’re putting it on tile or wood floors it would need to be taped down because it slides and the edges roll up.

wanted something to put under my home office chair that was decorative also this is perfect-the backing of the rug is very soft and does not transfer to the floor like some that have rubber black backing(which is then impossible to get off the floor) you will not be disappointed.
