The Little Tikes easy score basketball set, designed for children 18 months to 5 years old, introduces kids of all abilities to the game of basketball and competitive play. The height can be adjusted to six settings between 2.5 and 4 feet to accommodate even the littlest hoop Star. The oversize rim and kid-size basketball ensure easy scoring and help kids develop hand-eye coordination while providing the right challenge level. Before play, add sand to the base for stability. I am not a paid reviewer: I purchased this for a 3 year old and it’s absolutely the best choice. Easy to assemble and easy for a 3 years old to move and play with . The balls 🏀 are durable and comes with 3 . Very sturdy without sand and you have the option to add water or sand but it wasn’t needed . I would have liked a more secure latch because if you wish to move the hooo it’s don’t secure and slides up having to grab it from the post to move it around . It has been a great durable basketball set! My kid loves it (and so do I). He has had this basket since he was 2 years old and I love the fact that it’s extendable because it will grow along with him and it will last him for years to come (description says it’s for children from18 months to 5 years old, but I think it will be usable beyond that if it’s still in one piece!). I love the fact that it’s not too big and it can be used and placed indoors or outdoors (it seems to be made of high quality plastic). Love the combination of red, blue and white (and of course the nice gray backboard). It’s very easy to clean if it becomes dirty and stained.
