The media could not be loaded. I must confess, I was just as excited for this to arrive as my 3 yo was. It got here on time- the best part was that I paid only 28$ for it used, and it arrived in a new, unopened box! Usually it costs 60 or 70, new! No, for real though, the best part was my Son's reaction. I added the 6 batteries, and it worked like a charm. It's a great way to teach your child patience. Of course, we only use it on Fast Mode, so he only has to wait 10 minutes. This toy is a wonderful way to teach your LO how to care for a small animal. He is so gentle with Mama and her 3 babies. He already knows how to reset the hopper, so the 3 babies can be born, over and over! The wonder in his eyes when he first opened that hutch, and found that a baby had "magically" arrived, just melted my heart. He hasn't lost interest in it, like he does with other toys. He sleeps with the baby guineas at night. Hours and hours of playtime-you won't regret spending the money. Great present for any animal loving kid. It’s fun and teaches patience, waiting for Mama to give birth to babies. Mama makes cute noises and is also soft and cuddly. It’s still being played even after the surprise of babies being born. And you can reuse and go through the “birthing” cycle again.

My daughter begged for this toy! I thought it was weird but got it anyway. It is weird… just like I thought and she only played with it one time. The first time is fun because it’s a surprise and you don’t know what you’re getting. When the heart lights up you put the momma in the cage then babies randomly fall from the top into the cage with a present that has bows and glasses for them to wear. She thought it was the coolest thing the first time then it was time to reload it and after she realized it was “magic” she was over it and it just sits now. The grass gets everywhere and she’s already lost the presents for the babies. Honestly it’s cute and fun but not worth the $$ if it was cheaper then yeah maybe. ... show more

Purchased for my 5 year olds birthday and my 7 year old loved it too! It’s prices as others have said but you get 4 ‘pets’ and a house so really it’s a good value. They loved waiting for the Momma to have the babies and we’ve reloaded and let her have babies over and over again. You will need 6 AAA batteries to get going so don’t forget those! I purchased this for my niece’s 4th birthday and so far it’s been a BIG hit. She’s always been a big animal lover (she could spend allll day at the spca looking at kitties) so I felt like this would be a fun way to let her take care of a pet (without the real life stresses for her parents). Both kiddos were delighted at the idea of the babies suddenly arriving and they actually spent the night in the hallway with the hutch in between them so they could be close to the mama and impending babies. This was the best birthday present ever! She absolutely loved it but just one warning to parents. You will need to open it up to put batteries in before wrapping. We accidentally revealed where the babies were in front of her!! She still loved it but it made my daughter and I feel really bad!!
