I bought this for my 10 year old who has been using her bedroom window to trace pictures from other papers. This does the job! It is super thin and lightweight and the brightness is exactly right. The price was super affordable such that I felt it was worthwhile to get for my 10 year old who might ultimately break it by accident. It does need to be plugged in to turn on and the provided cord isn't super long so that's a little annoying but otherwise it works great. I love the size and the ruler markings along the side. This is a very good product to help learn drawing skills through tracing forms of art, that have been already created. This has helped me with muscle memory and my art has improved by over x10, especially when I started free-hand sketching. It is very easy to carry around in a backpack or just as if it were a book and I found it very convenient when taking a form of transit or as something to bring to school and use during breaks. I like that I can store all supplies in one case. The light pad is super light, and you can adjust the brightness up an down to any brightness level you like. I have been using this light box nearly nonstop since I bought it. I love that it's rechargeable, that it uses usb type c, and that it handles a nice area. My only real complaint is the power button. It has a switch on the side that turns it on and off which is fine but I'm talking about the touch button on the face of the unit. Almost every time I use it, I accidently push it multiple times and have to turn the light back on. I've tried turning it different ways and it doesn't matter.
