    • Good for small ornaments
The spaces between the branches only makes your ornaments stand out all the more. At first it didn't light up, but when I twisted the "trunk" in the base it lit up just fine. My only criticism is that the light switch is on the underside of the base and therefore I had to lift the whole tree to get at the switch; however, if you set the switch on "timer" setting, that shortcoming is not an issue. Just the right amount of lights and the branches are quite sturdy. I recommend it highly if you have some well-loved small ornaments to display. ... show more

I returned the first order and ordered again and lampshades were still not included as advertised. I landed up having to order them from another source to use on the tree for an additional cost. Although it says warm light, the bulbs are more of a bright white which is why I wanted to soften them with the frosted lampshades. Now that I have those, the lighting is much softer. ... show more

The lighted olive tree is really cute-I got the garland also for my mantle-the tree is short (as stated in the description) so I set it on the hearth. I really like that it can be plugged in or battery operated.
